The Coyotes signed their top pick in last years draft, Kyle Turris, to an entry level contract on Monday, this according to NHL.com. Turris was the leading scorer, as a freshman, on the University of Wisconsin's roster this past season with 11 goals and 36 points in 36 games. He has the skill to step right in to the lineup, so keep and eye on how the Coyotes choose to use the second best prospect coming into the NHL (according to the Hockey News).

Shane Doan scored the lone goal for the Coyotes on Sunday night as they lost to San Jose 3-1. That was his 28th goal of the season, with four coming over his last six games.

Shane Doan scored his 24th goal of the season in 5-2 loss to Edmonton. He has 67 points as well, and scored a goal in five of his last seven games.

Shane Doan scored his 21st goal of the season on Wednesday night, and he also picked up a late 10 minute misconduct in the game as well. Doan continues to lead on and off the ice for the Coyotes, and despite just four goals in his last 15 games Doan does have 12 assists in that time as the teams most consistent offensive force.

Shane Doan failed to score on Wednesday night, his second straight game without a point after a 6-game point streak. Doan has still be the Coyotes most consistent offensive performer of late with 33 points in his last 25 games, so expect him to return to the scoresheet soon.

Shane Doan was in the lineup Thursday night despite missing practice Wednesday. The winger scored once and added two assists as the Phoenix Coyotes snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Dallas Stars. Doan has posted 28 points in his last 19 games.

Shane Doan could be in the lineup tonight against Dallas, even though he didn't practice Wednesday, according to the Arizona Republic. "He could have practiced," Coyotes coach Wayne Gretzky said, "but my feeling was to give it one more day of healing." Doan ranks as one of the game's top power forwards with 18 goals and 54 points in 55 games this season.
