Wade Redden is dealing with a sore back. "It seized up a bit. I wasn't feeling good so I got off and got some treatment," said Redden, according to the Ottawa Sun. "It just stiffened up and it was a little tight. I just thought it was better for me to get off the ice." He'll sit out Monday's game but should be back in the mix Tuesday, so this situation shouldn't affect his draft status.

The Senators say they're not concerned about Wade Redden's lower-body injury, the Ottawa Sun reports. "He was a little tight in the groin area before the game (Tuesday)," Bryan Murray said. "The ice was not very good and rather than risk it, we decided to let Lawrence (Nycholat) have a game."

Wade Redden had the night off on Tuesday with what the team described as a lower-body injury, according to the AP. "Wade just felt a little tight in the groin and with the ice being a little rough we thought it was better to be careful," said head coach Bryan Murray. "It was a last-minute decision."
