Eric Cairns has resumed skating but has not been cleared to join the team at practice, according to the Post-Gazette. Cairns has been out since Nov. 22 because of post concussion symptoms.

Eric Cairns, recovering post-concussion syndrome, recently got clearance to begin working out, according to the Post-Gazette. However, there is no timetable for when he can skate or play again.

Eric Cairns practiced with the team for the first time yesterday, according to the Post-Gazette. Cairns missed training camp and hasn't played yet this season because of a broken ankle and a torn meniscus. "It feels good to be out there skating with the guys instead of by myself," Cairns said. "But it's always tough when you're not skating for a while and you have a broken ankle and cartilage damage in your knee to come back and skate right away." There is no timetable for Cairns' return.
