Count Dwayne Roloson as one of the many Oilers who are excited about the way the off-season has played out thus far, according to the Edmonton Sun. "It's all excitement, everyone's excited for the upcoming season. They're looking forward to the run-and-gun style we played towards the end of the year," said Roloson.

Dwayne Roloson allowed three goals on 34 shots on Monday night to pick up his fifth victory in six starts for the suddenly streaking Oilers. Mathieu Garon's injured ankle is almost healed to the point that he will be able to play, but with the team winning behind Roloson they may not go back to Garon though it should be noted that Roloson has allowed 16 goals in his last four games so it's not like he is helping anyone in the ratio categories.

Dwayne Roloson enjoyed an outstanding performance, halting 48 of 49 shots by the San Jose Sharks to give Edmonton a 2-1 win with just 23 shots on goal. The Oilers defense had been solid in recent weeks, rarely allowing Roloson to see such fire. This time he came through for them and served as the top goalie on the day.
