The Senators signed free agent forward Randy Robitaille to a one-year contract on Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Technically, Robitaille must clear waivers on Wednesday before the deal becomes official.

December 21, 2006
The Islanders acquired Randy Robitaille and a fifth-round draft pick from the Flyers in exchange for Mike York, according to the New York Daily News. Robitaille had five goals and 12 assists with the Flyers this season.
