Modano nets winner as Stars finally outshine Wings, force Game 5 Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Mike Modano's third-period power-play goal
proved to be the game-winner, as the Dallas Stars staved off elimination with
a 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings in Game 4 of the Western Conference
finals at American Airlines Center.
Loui Eriksson and Brenden Morrow also scored for the Stars, who trail the
series, 3-1. Sergei Zubov collected two assists, while Marty Turco stopped 33-
of-34 shots to earn the win.

Johan Franzen is going to miss Game 5 against Dallas, according to the AP. Franzen was scratched from the Red Wings lineup for Game 2 against the Stars, and hasn't returned to the lineup since.
The Detroit Red Wings may have suffered their first loss of the Western Conference finals, but winger Henrik Zetterberg did what he could to reverse their fortunes. Zetterberg scored the Red Wings' lone goal of the evening, giving him 10 total postseason goals this season.
Johan Franzen has been cleared to resume light workouts, the Detroit News reports. The center is back in Detroit and still experiencing headaches. "He's been given the green light to start doing a few things," general manager Ken Holland explains. "Nothing major, just riding the bike a little bit. We'll continue to monitor the headaches and we'll see how he responds."
