ESPN's Buster Olney reports the Red Sox are willing to include Jacoby Ellsbury in a deal for Minnesota's Johan Santana. However, if they include Ellsbury in the package, they're unlikely to part with either Clay Buchholz or Jon Lester. The Yankees reportedly have an offer on the table that includes Phil Hughes, Melky Cabrera, and a third player to be determined, so the Twins will have some options.

The Astros declined to offer Jason Jennings arbitration. Jennings, who missed the final month of the 2007 season after undergoing elbow surgery, held a 6.45 ERA in 19 games (18 starts) this year.
