Spencer Hawes, C, Sacramento KingsMonday 11/5, 9:22 AM CT
Spencer Hawes said he's "ready to go" after testing out his surgically repaired knee with a Sunday workout. However, the call on when he will make his NBA debut will be made by the Kings' trainers, according to the Sacramento Bee. "It feels a lot better," Hawes said. "I'm able to cut on it. ... Now it's just a question of testing it out in practice-type, game-like situations and trying to see how it responds and then going from there. It shouldn't be that much longer." The Kings could really use some frontcourt help, so the No. 10 overall pick should be able to contribute once he gets his legs under him. Don't expect too much, but he's worth watching in deep leagues that use two-center rosters.
Donyell Marshall, F, Philadelphia 76ersMonday 11/5, 8:41 AM CT
As expected, Donyell Marshall missed Sunday's game due to his wrist injury. Although he's listed as day-to-day, he had the joint in a splint Sunday and won't be re-examined for another week, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Marshall has had two surgeries on that wrist in recent years, so the Cavs probably will take things slowly with Marshall. This news should only matter to those in the deepest of leagues, since Marshall no longer is much of a statistical contributor.
Hilton Armstrong, F, New Orleans HornetsMonday 11/5, 12:00 AM CT
Hilton Armstrong missed Sunday's game against Denver because of a viral infection, according to the AP. It's unclear when he'll be ready to return to action.
