Kurt Thomas, F, San Antonio SpursSunday 11/11, 11:01 PM CT
Kurt Thomas made his season debut Sunday after missing the beginning of the season with a strained right hamstring. He actually did pretty well, scoring 10 points with seven boards and couple of dimes in just 19 minutes. The Sonics have a young frontcourt, so it's possible that Thomas could carve out enough playing time to help in deep leagues.
Zach Randolph, F, Los Angeles ClippersSunday 11/11, 10:54 PM CT
As expected, Zach Randolph was not with the Knicks Sunday when they faced the Heat. Randolph headed home to Indiana the day prior following the death of his grandmother. It's not clear when he will rejoin the team. With Randolph out, David Lee started and racked up 14 points and 14 boards. That's standard fare for Lee when he gets the minutes, but Randolph's arrival has limited Lee's production this season. Expect Lee to give similar production if Randolph misses another game.
Zaza Pachulia, F, Atlanta HawksSunday 11/11, 4:43 PM CT
Zaza Pachulia made his season debut on Sunday after missing action with an ankle injury. He came off the bench and played just six minutes, though he managed to get three boards, three turnovers, two points and two fouls in his cameo. Rookie Al Horford has played well at center, so for look for Pachulia to come off the bench for the foreseeable future.
Vince Carter, G, New Jersey NetsSunday 11/11, 4:35 PM CT
It looks like the the Nets might not have Vince Carter in the mix for Monday's game. He's listed as doubtful for the contest due to the badly sprained ankle he sustained during Saturday's contest, according to the AP. It didn't look pretty at the time, and unless he makes an unexpectedly quick recovery, Carter's probably going to miss several games. Antoine Wright should benefit the most if Carter is unable to play.
Spencer Hawes, C, Sacramento KingsSunday 11/11, 8:07 AM CT
Spencer Hawes made his NBA debut on Saturday after missing the start of the season due to knee surgery. There wasn't much to see in fantasy terms -- he played just six minutes, picked up three fouls and scored just two points -- but the fact that he was in a game in a timely manner after the knee surgery is good sign. Keep an eye on his progress, as he could provide fantasy value in deeper leagues as he gets his legs under him.
Raja Bell, G, Phoenix SunsSunday 11/11, 8:00 AM CT
Raja Bell was held out of Saturday's game due to the sprained ankle he sustained the night prior. "If it was a playoff game, I don't think I could've played," Bell said, according to the Arizona Republic. "That's what I use as a gauge. As the soreness starts to go away, I'd like to think I could shoot and do some stuff Monday. I definitely don't plan on missing Tuesday." He doesn't sound too concerned about it, but time will tell whether he will be able to run on Tuesday.
Robert Swift, C, Oklahoma City ThunderSunday 11/11, 7:51 AM CT
Robert Swift is questionable for Sunday's game. He was limited in practice Saturday due to soreness in his surgically repaired knee, according to the Seattle Times. He's been starting at center for a few games and has the ability to hit the glass, but until he's fully recovered from his surgery his fantasy value will be minimal.
Kurt Thomas, F, San Antonio SpursSunday 11/11, 7:46 AM CT
Kurt Thomas was able to practice Saturday for the first time in two weeks, according to the Seattle Times. It's possible that he could make his debut for the Sonics on Sunday. Thomas has been out with a strained right hamstring and isn'y likely to have much fantasy value.
Zach Randolph, F, Los Angeles ClippersSunday 11/11, 7:09 AM CT
The Knicks proabably will play Sunday's game without the services of Zach Randolph. He went home to Indiana Saturday following the death of his grandmother, and the club isn't sure when he will rejoin them, according to the New York Daily News. Normally, you'd probably see David Lee start in place of Randolph, but the Knicks face the Heat Sunday, and Shaq's so much of a load that Malik Rose might get the nod.
Vince Carter, G, New Jersey NetsSunday 11/11, 7:03 AM CT
Vince Carter was diagnosed with a sprained right ankle after landing on Paul Pierce's foot on Saturday. He didn't return to the game and X-rays were negative, according to the New York Daily News. Carter was wearing a protective boot and was on crutches after the contest. Although he said he didn't think it was a high-ankle sprain, we should know more about his status after he's examined further on Sunday. Considering his high-flying ways, a bum ankle could limit Carter for a while. If it's a high-ankle sprain, he could miss weeks. In that case, Antione Wright, who has played well early this season, would be worth a look in fantasy terms.
