Chris Paul, G, New Orleans HornetsSaturday 12/1, 11:59 PM CT
Chris Paul was electric in Saturday's win over Dallas, collecting 33 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds. The ankle problems of mid-November certainly appear to be behind him now.
Ben Gordon, G, Chicago BullsSaturday 12/1, 11:58 PM CT
Ben Gordon poured in a season-high 34 points in Saturday's win over Charlotte. Gordon, who entered the night shooting less than 37 percent from the floor, made 13-of-21 shots including five from behind the arc.
Chris Bosh, F, Toronto RaptorsSaturday 12/1, 11:56 PM CT
Chris Bosh missed another game Saturday due to his strained groin. He remains day-to-day.
Mehmet Okur, F, Utah JazzSaturday 12/1, 9:03 AM CT
Mehmet Okur injured his back on Wednesday and missed Friday's game as a result. It doesn't appear to be anything serious, so he might return for Utah's next run.
Carlos Boozer, F, Utah JazzSaturday 12/1, 9:00 AM CT
Carlos Boozer missed Friday's game due to the sprained ankle he sustained during Wednesday's contest. It looks like he's day-to-day at this point, so hopefully he'll be back in the mix soon.
Robert Swift, C, Oklahoma City ThunderSaturday 12/1, 8:55 AM CT
The Sonics will continue playing without Robert Swift for a while longer. He's expected to miss at least another month due to knee tendinitis and plantar fasciitis, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He's still working his way back from knee surgery, but it sounds like the plantar fasciitis in his foot is more of a concern right now. Swift has decent upside, if he could just get up to full speed.
Shaun Livingston, G, Miami HeatSaturday 12/1, 8:49 AM CT
Shaun Livingston has been cleared to move on to the strengthening part of his rehab. "It's going well," Livingston said, according to the LA Times. "It's on track. Slower than I would like. . . . But it's not ready and I've just got to take my time and continue to get stronger. That's the main thing." He's still hoping to practice in February, but considering how gruesome the knee injury was, it may be more likely that we won't see him on the hardwood until next season.
Theo Ratliff, F, Philadelphia 76ersSaturday 12/1, 8:45 AM CT
Theo Ratliff began doing some light shooting on Friday. "There's no timetable," he told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "I'm going to take it day by day and continue to progress with the right attitude and the right prayers and make this thing possible. I'm able to shoot a bit and jump a bit, so that's encouraging." He's hoping to avoid surgery on his ailing knee but won't be back in game action until the joint is up for the effort.
Marko Jaric, G, Memphis GrizzliesSaturday 12/1, 8:42 AM CT
Marko Jaric was unable to complete Friday's game. He exited late in the opening quarter due to a sprained right foot and ankle, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. He's had some value of late, but it's not clear whether he will miss any more action due to his injury.
T.J. Ford, G, Indiana PacersSaturday 12/1, 8:33 AM CT
As had been hoped, T.J. Ford was able to return from his shoulder stinger on Friday. However, he came off the bench and mustered just two points and six dimes in 17 minutes. He'll start and pick up the pace once he's closer to full strength.
Nenad Krstic, C, Saturday 12/1, 8:26 AM CT
Nenad Krstic is expected to skip Saturday's game against the Sixers, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. It'll be the fourth straight game he's missed, as he works himself back into shape while recovering from offseason knee surgery.
Stephon Marbury, G, New York KnicksSaturday 12/1, 8:00 AM CT
Stephon Marbury was unable to complete Friday's game. He was forced to exit the contest due to what was dubbed a shoulder spasm, according to the New York Daily News. After the game, Marbury said he intended to be ready to play on Sunday, but we'll have to wait to see if his plan comes to fruition.
Kevin Garnett, F, Boston CelticsSaturday 12/1, 7:52 AM CT
Kevin Garnett wore a brace on his left knee during Friday's victory over the Heat. "Wins always make the body feel better," KG told the Boston Globe. Garnett's battled sore knees at times during the past couple of seasons. This isn't anything to be concerned about right now but is something to keep any eye on down the road.
