LeBron James, F, Cleveland CavaliersMonday 12/10, 8:58 PM CT
LeBron James made it through two days of practice with heavy contact and said that he is ready to get back into the lineup. James has been out with a left index finger injury for the last five games, but he should start on Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers.
Rafer Alston, G, Houston RocketsMonday 12/10, 9:54 AM CT
Rafer Alston pulled a groin muscle during practice on Saturday and missed Sunday's game as a result. "I tried to explode to the rim to dunk it, and when I came down, my groin tweaked," Alston said, according to the Houston Chronicle. Steve Francis made his first start this season, replacing Alston. It's not clear if Skip to My Lou will miss any more action.
Sam Cassell, G, Boston CelticsMonday 12/10, 9:41 AM CT
Sam Cassell continues to be bothered by a strained left calf. He's expected to travel with the Clippers on their road trip, but he's not ready to take the floor, according to the LA Times. Cassell has missed six games now, and at his age it's not surprising that he'll miss more.
Randy Foye, G, Minnesota TimberwolvesMonday 12/10, 9:38 AM CT
Randy Foye is expected to be cleared to resume practicing after he's examined on Monday, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He'll need to test his ailing knee out with a week or two of practice before seeing game action, but he's getting closer to making his season debut. Now's the time to grab him off your waiver wire, if he's available.
Keith Bogans, G, Orlando MagicMonday 12/10, 8:58 AM CT
Keith Bogans was forced to exit Friday's game with a bruised thigh. He's expected to be a game-time call Monday due to the injury, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Keyon Dooling will start for the Magic if Bogans is unable to suit up.
Jason Williams, G, Los Angeles ClippersMonday 12/10, 8:52 AM CT
Jason Williams missed Sunday's game due to an ankle sprain sustained on Friday. "It's day-to-day, but he can't play now," coach Pat Riley said, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "We're hoping when we play Thursday." X-rays were negative, but he was wearing a walking boot on Sunday. Considering his habit of being hurt, don't count on a quick return.
Stephon Marbury, G, New York KnicksMonday 12/10, 8:41 AM CT
Stephon Marbury skipped Sunday's practice, as he continues to grieve over the loss of his father last week. "He's having a hard time," coach Isiah Thomas told the New York Daily News. "Going back to the Garden (on Saturday) was very difficult for him." There's a chance that Marbury might take another game off Monday.
