It doesn't seem like he should be out for long, but we'll have to wait to see if he's able to take part in the Spurs' next game.

Melvin Ely sustained a fractured eye socket when he was popped with a Kenyon Martin elbow on Wednesday. He'll miss Friday's game for sure, according to the AP. He's almost certain to miss much more action than one game, but he doesn't have any fantasy value anyway.

The NBA has suspended Al Horford one game for his flagrant foul against T.J. Ford during Tuesday's game. Luckily, it appears that Ford should be all right long term. To the rookie's credit, Horford reportedly visited Ford in the hospital to apologize for the hard foul. Horford will miss Friday's run against the Pistons.

Ford won’t even consider coming back to practice for at least a week after the a flagrant foul by Atlanta’s Al Horford had him staying the night on Tuesday in the hospital, the Toronto Star reported. Ford said he isn’t worried about another incident; he just wants to give his body enough time to heal.

Jazz center Mehmet Okur did not suit up for Wednesday’s game against Phoenix due to a sore left shoulder, the Deseret Morning News reported. Okur said he suffered the injury on Tuesday when Blazers center Joel Przybilla landed on his shoulder following a ball fake. Coach Jerry Sloan said that if it appears Okur may miss multiple games, the Jazz would consider recalling rookie center Kyrylo Fesenko from the D-League.
