Kobe Bryant sustained a slight tear in his left quadriceps during Friday's game, according to the LA Times. Kobe's nursing myriad injuries, but none of them have kept him from playing, and this one isn't expected to be any different.
Tim Thomas, F, Los Angeles ClippersSaturday 12/15, 9:35 AM CT

Elton Brand, F, Philadelphia 76ersSaturday 12/15, 9:24 AM CT
Elton Brand has been cleared to begin dribbling and taking stationary shots. The doctor who performed surgery to repair Brand's torn Achilles tendon said the tendon was at about 75 percent overall strength, but he'll need to get it to about 90 percent before practicing, according to the LA Times. A best-case scenario would have Brand back in game action in Februrary, so keep your expectations tempered.
Antonio Daniels, G, Washington WizardsSaturday 12/15, 9:10 AM CT
The injuries just keep hitting the Wiz. Antonio Daniels is expected to miss 2-4 weeks due to a sprained MCL in his right knee, according to the Washington Post. With their top two point guards down (Gilbert Arenas being the other), the Wiz may turn to Roger Mason or Nick Young, but neither will fantasy worthy.
Ike Diogu, F, Portland TrailblazersSaturday 12/15, 9:06 AM CT
Ike Diogu has been cleared to test his torn left calf muscle in practice. "It was real tough sitting out because I got off to a good start," Diogu said, according to the Indianapolis Star. "I'm antsy to get back out there, but not too antsy because I want to get healed." He probably won't get into a game until later next week, but he'll be worth keeping an eye as he gets his legs under him.
Stephon Marbury, G, New York KnicksSaturday 12/15, 8:45 AM CT
Stephon Marbury missed another game on Saturday while dealing with his father's death. He's not expected to be with the Knicks on Saturday, either, according to the New York Daily News. It's not clear when Marbury will rejoin his teammates.
Josh Childress, F, Saturday 12/15, 8:42 AM CT
Josh Childress tweaked his strained groin Tuesday and missed Friday's run as a result. Coach Mike Woodson said he hoped that Childress would be able to hit the hardwood for Saturday's contest, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Childress continues to carry a great field-goal percentage (57%), but he doesn't see enough shots to give that much fantasy value.
Ray Allen, G, Boston CelticsSaturday 12/15, 8:31 AM CT
Ray Allen was held out of Friday's game due to a sore right ankle. "My recommendation was to sit him [last night] and maybe even [tomorrow]," coach Doc Rivers told the Boston Globe. "And then we have two days off after that and we'll go from there." It's a bit concerning because Allen missed the end of last season with an injury to his right foot and had bone spurs removed from both ankles during the offseason. Don't panic, yet, as it could be something minor that could heal with rest.
