Tony Parker, G, San Antonio SpursMonday 12/17, 9:49 AM CT
Tony Parker was able to do some conditioning work Sunday. However, it's unlikely that he will return to action tonight against the Suns, according to the San Antonio Express. Parker continues to battle a sprained ankle, so we'll have to wait to see when the joint will be ready for game action again.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F, Portland TrailblazersMonday 12/17, 9:28 AM CT
LaMarcus Aldridge still is working his way back from plantar fasciitis. He's not expected to play on Monday night, according to the Oregonian. He was having a breakout campaign before being stopped by the injury, so hopefully he'll be back soon.
Rafer Alston, G, Houston RocketsMonday 12/17, 9:23 AM CT
Rafer Alston is expected to miss his third straight game on Monday, according to the Houston Chronicle. Skip's still battling a strained groin, and it's unclear exactly when he'll be ready to hit the court again.
Kwame Brown, F, Detroit PistonsMonday 12/17, 9:20 AM CT
Kwame Brown is not ready to return to action. In fact, he's not even ready for practice, so he won't travel with the Lakers on their four-game road trip this week, according to the LA Times. Brown can run on his sprained knee and ankle in a straight line, but cutting and stopping is an issue. At this rate, we may not see Brown on the hardwood until the new year.
Elton Brand, F, Philadelphia 76ersMonday 12/17, 9:15 AM CT
Elton Brand admitted Sunday that his hopes of returning from his torn Achilles tendon by February may not be realistic. "The February timetable, that was the minimum. Six months," Brand said, according to the LA Times. "But basketball-wise and getting timing and stuff back, [trainer] Jasen Powell is like 'E, stop saying February, OK?' Because that's pushing it, but that would be great if you can.'" A ruptured Achilles tendon is a major injury, and it would be impressive if he's able to return at any point this season, much less contribute near his typical level.
Kelenna Azubuike, G, Golden State WarriorsMonday 12/17, 9:03 AM CT
Kelenna Azubuike was limited to just seven minutes Sunday and sat out the second half. He's dealing with tendinitis in his knee, according to the Contra Costa Times. He hopes to play Tuesday, but so far the treatments he's received for his sore knee haven't helped.
Rashard Lewis, F, Orlando MagicMonday 12/17, 8:50 AM CT
Rashard Lewis is expected to return to action Monday night, according to the Orlando Sentinel. He missed Saturday's run due to a sore neck, but it appears it's safe to get him into your lineups for this week.
Marcus Williams, G, Golden State WarriorsMonday 12/17, 8:33 AM CT
Marcus Williams dressed for Sunday's game. He was only available in an emergency situation, though, and didn't get on the court, according to the New York Daily News. Williams has been out all season with a broken foot but could make his debut as soon as Tuesday. So long as Jason Kidd is healthy, Williams will have little fantasy impact.
