Raptors guard T.J. Ford, who hasn’t played since December 11 due to a neck injury, announced on the Fan 590 on Thursday that he is pain-free and plans to return to the lineup in the near future, the National Post reported. “I’m feeling good,” Ford said. “My body has recovered all the way and I’m not having any symptoms. I’m not waking up sore anymore and I’m not having pain throughout the day.”

After missing one game due to a knee injury, Chris Wilcox returned to the lineup on Thursday only to dislocate a finger, the AP reported. Wilcox played only six minutes before leaving the game with the injury.

Lakers center Chris Mihm will miss three to four weeks due to a sore right Achilles, the LA Times reported. Mihm will have weekly sonar-wave treatment on the heel. His right ankle has been surgically repaired twice.

Michael Redd (thigh bruise) did not practice Thursday and is no sure thing to play Friday against Washington, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. The Bucks shooting guard did not play in the fourth quarter against the Heat Wednesday. "Somebody kneed me in my thigh, and I knew I couldn't go back in the game," Redd said. "I knew it. I couldn't move. I would have done more harm than good."
