Brevin Knight, G, Utah JazzMonday 1/7, 9:17 PM CT
Clippers guard Brevin Knight had an MRI on Monday that showed a stress reaction in his left leg. According to team officials Knight will be held out of practice, but will be available for games if needed.
Randy Foye, G, Minnesota TimberwolvesMonday 1/7, 9:11 PM CT
Point guard Randy Foye was cleared by doctors to begin more strenuous workouts on his injured left knee that has kept him on the sidelines for the entire season. Foye, who was the Wolves first round pick last season, first had pain in the knee during training camp and was shut down immediately in hopes that he would avoid microfracture surgery.
Bobby Jones, F, Denver NuggetsMonday 1/7, 8:47 PM CT
The Denver Nuggets waived guard-forward Bobby Jones on Monday, after he appeared in only 23 games for the team since being traded from the 76ers in early September. Jones was traded along with Steven Hunter for Reggie Evans on September 10, he averaged 3.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
Tim Duncan, C, San Antonio SpursMonday 1/7, 7:59 AM CT
Tim Duncan banged knees with Corey Maggette late during Sunday's game. "It went numb for a little bit," Duncan said, according to the San Antonio Express. "It will probably swell up, but we'll see how it is tomorrow." He was hopeful about lacing up for Monday's run against the Warriors. It sounds like he didn't sustain anything serious.
Manu Ginobili, G, San Antonio SpursMonday 1/7, 7:55 AM CT
Manu Ginobili finally returned to game action on Sunday after a five-game absence. He came off the bench to scores 23 points in 29 minutes of action. Ginobili had been out with a sprained left index finger, but after his extended rest, he should be fine going forward.
Shaun Livingston, G, Los Angeles ClippersMonday 1/7, 7:39 AM CT
Shaun Livingston will have his surgically repaired knee examined on Monday. He hopes to receive clearance to begin work on regaining his jumping ability, according to the LA Times. While there remains a chance he could return to game action this season, since the Clippers aren't playing for the postseason, there's no reason for them to push him to come back too quickly from what was a gruesome knee injury sustained last year.
Tim Thomas, F, Los Angeles ClippersMonday 1/7, 7:35 AM CT
As expected, Tim Thomas returned from his sore knee on Sunday. He came off the bench and played just 15 minutes, scoring seven points. If you're in dire need of threes and can handle his ugly field-goal percentage (37.9), get him back in your lineup once he gets up to speed.
Theo Ratliff, C, Detroit PistonsMonday 1/7, 7:29 AM CT
Theo Ratliff has been off his crutches for about 7-10 days, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Although the T-Wolves haven't announced a specific timetable for his return from knee surgery, we won't likely see him back on the court until sometime next month.
Erick Dampier, C, Dallas MavericksMonday 1/7, 7:23 AM CT
Erick Dampier may need to get an MRI on his sore knee if it doesn't feel better Monday. "We tried to get him on the court [Saturday] and see if he could move around, and he just really couldn't move at all," coach Avery Johnson told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Dampier missed his second straight game Sunday and presumably should remain on your fantasy bench for now.
Austin Croshere, F, Golden State WarriorsMonday 1/7, 7:17 AM CT
Austin Croshere was able to practice Sunday for the first time in three weeks. "He looked OK to me," coach Don Nelson said, according to the Contra Costa Times. "I don't think he's sharp, but he got through a practice." He should be available Monday night, so long as his back doesn't act up in the interim.
Jamaal Tinsley, G, Indiana PacersMonday 1/7, 7:03 AM CT
Jamaal Tinsley took part in some conditioning work during the Pacers' morning shootaround Sunday. The point guard hopes to return to action at some point during the next week, according to the Indianapolis Star. Tinsley missed his fifth consecutive game Sunday due to a sore left hamstring, but we may see him back in the mix during the remaining four games on the Pacers' road trip.
Jason Williams, G, Miami HeatMonday 1/7, 6:47 AM CT
Jason Williams returned to action Sunday, though he came off the bench and was held scoreless in 14 minutes of action. J-Will had missed the previous five games with a strained tendon in his knee, and it's probably going to take him some time to get his legs under him.
Dwyane Wade, G, Miami HeatMonday 1/7, 6:41 AM CT
Dwyane Wade was able to return to action Sunday after missing Friday's game due to injuries. He came off the bench, at his own request, according to the Miami Herald. He racked up 18 points, nine dimes and four steals, despite his shoulder, knee and finger injuries. It's not clear if Wade will start Tuesday, but it appears he should play.
Richard Jefferson, F, Milwaukee BucksMonday 1/7, 6:34 AM CT
Richard Jefferson tweaked his right knee late during Saturday's game. Tests performed on Sunday revealed no damage, according to the New York Daily News. Jefferson's not expected to miss any action, so keep him active for the upcoming week.
