Houston has now won eight of its last nine games since McGrady returned from a knee injury, and they have won eight straight games on the road.

Dwyane Wade was limited to just 12 points on Monday night as the hapless Heat fell for the 19th time in 20 games, including losing 10 of their last 11 games at home. Brad Miller, the Kings center who was just named NBA player of the week, picked up nine stitches in his injured finger on Sunday after an accident at home, and as a result could miss the team's next game on Wednesday. Miller was on a huge role averaging 22 points, 18.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.6 steals, and 2.0 blocks in the Kings three wins last week, so hopefully his stupidity while washing dishes won't keep him out of action long.
Stromile Swift, F, New Jersey NetsMonday 2/4, 4:58 PM CT
Stromile Swift was traded on Monday to the New Jersey Nets for Jason Collins and cash. Smith has averaged less than 16 minutes per game up until this point, but the infusion of athleticism that he brings will be a nice boost for the Nets team that has lost 10 of 12 games amidst talk that Jason Kidd would be moved. For his part, Collins is a solid defensive player who is almost devoid of an offensive game which means he bares no attention whatsoever from a fantasy perspective.

"I have to play," George said. "I've had my share of injuries, and my thing is I have to be out on the floor. I have to show that I'm healthy. In reality, I don't have a job. "You can see a big difference with him out there, changing shots, things like that. He brings a whole different dimension to our team, and we miss him big time, because you can't replace that." If Camby is unable to play tonight, seldom-used Steven Hunter could start at center. Hunter had eight points, six rebounds and two blocked shots Saturday against Charlotte.
Eduardo Najera, F, Denver NuggetsMonday 2/4, 9:52 AM CT
Eduardo Najera missed Saturday's game because of a bruised lower rib, but he said he will try to play on Monday, according to the Denver Post. Najera is averaging 6.1 PPG this season.
Kevin Garnett, F, Boston CelticsMonday 2/4, 9:45 AM CT
Kevin Garnett has missed three straight games with an abdominal strain, and that count is expected to rise, according to the Boston Globe. Celtics coach Doc Rivers continued to say that Garnett's injury is no worse than first believed. Garnett most likely is out for Tuesday night’s game in Cleveland and Wednesday’s home affair with the Clippers. “There’s no date (for his return),” Rivers said. “It could be as early as this weekend or it could be after All-Star break (Feb. 15-17). Now this break’s over and he’s not back, but he had four days of no games, so that was a benefit. Hopefully, he’s back before All-Star break, but if he’s not, then we have that whole break, as well.”
