Andre Iguodala scored 25 points leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 101-84 victory over the short-handed Heat on Thursday night. The 20-30 76ers, who have looked as talentless as the Heat at times this season, sent Miami to a league worst record of 9-38.
Dwyane Wade, G, Miami HeatThursday 2/7, 11:10 PM CT
The Shaq-less Miami Heat were rumored that they might be better without injured Shaquille O'Neal in their lineup. If Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers is any indication of their talent and new chemistry, things don't appear to be much different than they were before trading the 14-time All-Star center. Andre Iguodala scored 25 points and Andre Miller added 21, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 101-84 victory over the short-handed Heat on Thursday night. Miami has lost six straight games and 21 of its last 22 with Wade struggling to 19 point performance on 5-for-17 shooting; well below his 24.3 per-game average.

Brandon Roy, G, Portland TrailblazersThursday 2/7, 7:51 PM CT
Brandon Roy is being listed as doubtful for Friday's game against Detroit according to The Columbian. Roy left the team following Wednesday's win over Chicago because of a family emergency. The report noted that the All Star was expected to attempt to rejoin his teammates for Friday's game, but coach McMillan said he had not spoken to Roy since Wednesday night and did not know if he would be able to arrive in time. Martell Webster is the likely starter if Roy is not active Friday night.

Tracy McGrady, G, Houston RocketsThursday 2/7, 4:20 PM CT
Tracy McGrady is considered a game time decision for tonight's game against the Cavs. The Houston Chronicle reports that while the Rockets hoped to continue their momentum before the All-Star break, the team faces the proposition of being without All Star guard Tracy McGrady for tonight's game. Popovich said Parker is about "60 or 70 percent," according to the San Antonio Express, and the guard did not accompany the team on its six-game eastern leg of their road trip.
Javaris Crittenton, G, Memphis GrizzliesThursday 2/7, 11:27 AM CT
Javaris Crittenton won't be taking minutes away from Mike Conley and Kyle Lowry at point guard. Coach Marc Iavaroni thinks Crittenton is better suited to play off the ball. "He's a versatile guard. I'm sure he's got things he can develop. But he's a scorer - an attack guy," Iavaroni said in the Commercial Appeal. "He's someone more suited to be a (shooting guard). We may not have to choose."

Spencer Hawes, C, Sacramento KingsThursday 2/7, 11:10 AM CT
Coach Reggie Theus contemplated starting rookie Spencer Hawes in place of the injured Brad Miller Wednesday night, but instead he opted to go with a smaller lineup, with John Salmons playing small forward, Ron Artest playing power forward and Mikki Moore moving to center. "I really contemplated starting 'Spence' tonight," said Theus in the Sacramento Bee. "But the lineup that we have right now is a lineup that we've had before." Hawes did play a little over 17 minutes, the third-most time he's spent on the court all year. He had 10 points and six rebounds.
Kobe Bryant, G, Los Angeles LakersThursday 2/7, 10:56 AM CT
Kobe Bryant admitted last night that his dislocated right pinkie, an injury he suffered Tuesday, is affecting him. Kobe was just 4-for-16 from the floor last night after a 3-for-13 showing Tuesday. He also lost control of the ball with eight seconds to play, costing the Lakers a crucial possession. "It just bounced out of my hand," Bryant said in the LA Times. "[The pinkie] is very swollen. "If Turk can't play Friday, don't come in here with a camera filming me," Van Gundy said to open his news conference after the game, according to the Orlando Sentinel. "I'm serious. That's dangerous." Turkoglu should be able to suit up Friday despite his coach's comments.

"I've saved a little money. I put money away. I just want to win. Winning is the most important thing to me." Rajon Rondo is playing well right now, and Cassell would likely be the backup to him. When asked about the possibility of being a backup, Cassell responded, "Whatever. I've been told it's not who starts the game, it's who finishes."
