LaMarcus Aldridge, F, Portland TrailblazersMonday 2/11, 11:07 PM CT
LaMarcus Aldridge scored a team-high 22 points on Monday night, but he needed 26 shots to score those points as he made only 10 shots from the field. Aldridge had made at least 50% of his shots the past three games, never scoring less than 18 points, so we'll give the guy a mulligan on this outing considering he is shooting over 48% from the field on the year.
Rafer Alston, G, Houston RocketsMonday 2/11, 11:04 PM CT
Rafer Alston had a solid all-around game on Monday night with 17 points, five rebounds and seven assists. Alston entered the game shooting under 40% for the season, so it was nice to see him a bit discerning when it came to hoisting up the rock. The result was 6-for-12 shooting, including three 3-pointers.
Brandon Roy, G, Portland TrailblazersMonday 2/11, 11:01 PM CT
Brandon Roy, making his first appearance in three games after attending to a death in the family, scored 15 points while adding eight assists and five rebounds for the Blazers. Roy didn't appear to miss a bit on the court, so we just hope that things are fine off it. Insert him in your lineup with confidence.
Tracy McGrady, G, Houston RocketsMonday 2/11, 10:59 PM CT
Tracy McGrady was held to only 12 points and six assists on Monday night but the Rockets still won their seventh straight game and 11th out of the last 12. The team might be winning, but it's certainly not because of the production they are getting from McGrady. Over the past three games McG has averaged just 11.7 points a game though he has contributed in the assists category (six per game).
Chris Kaman, C, Los Angeles ClippersMonday 2/11, 10:52 PM CT
Chris Kaman continues to struggle with the ball in his hands as he made just three shots on Monday night on his way to seven points. Kaman now has a total of 11 points over the past two games though he has continued to be a presence on the boards as he has 26 boards in that time. Coming back off the flu Kaman's play has been very uneven the past five games, but there is little reason to think he will suddenly just fall apart. Look for a rebound after the All-Star game.
Al Thornton, F, Los Angeles ClippersMonday 2/11, 10:48 PM CT
Al Thornton led three Clips who scored over 20 points with 25 while adding four rebounds and three assists in the Clips 96-89 victory over the Bucks. Despite averaging just under 10 points a game coming into the night, this is now the third straight game that Thornton has totaled at least 18 points and he is also averaging eight rebounds over the past three games.
Mo Williams, G, Cleveland CavaliersMonday 2/11, 10:45 PM CT
Mo Williams scored 31 points a game after he was forced to sit out because of the flu. Williams knocked down 12 shots including three 3-pointers on his way to his third straight 30-point outing for the Bucks. Mo certainly has kicked things up a notch in February with more 30-point outings in his last three games than in the previous 45 (two). Ride the hot hand when it's on fire.
Michael Redd, G, Milwaukee BucksMonday 2/11, 10:40 PM CT
Michael Redd took just one shot in the first half on his way to just 11 points on 3-of-11 shooting on the night. To help offset his shooting woes, Redd produced seven rebounds and a season-high 11 assists. The mark of a great player is that they find a way to produce value even when struggling, and Redd did that tonight while almost producing a triple double despite scoring at roughly half his normal rate (22.9).
Pau Gasol, F, Los Angeles LakersMonday 2/11, 10:32 PM CT
Pau Gasol scored 26 points on Monday night in support of Kobe Bryant's 31 as the Lakers defeated the Bobcats 106-97. Gasol was ultra-efficient with nine baskets on just 11 shots. After scoring at an 18.5 pace in Memphis, Gasol has picked up his game in LA scoring 104 points in five games (20.8) . Even more noteworthy is the fact that his new nickname could be dead eye since he has shot the rock at a 61.5% clip in the purple and yellow.
Jason Richardson, G, Charlotte BobcatsMonday 2/11, 10:28 PM CT
Jason Richardson, counted on to pick up the scoring with Gerald Wallace on the bench, failed miserably on Monday night scoring on 10 points on 4-for-14 shooting. J-Rich just wasn't himself all night, but at least he avoided turning the ball so that his night wasn't a total loss.
Raymond Felton, G, Charlotte BobcatsMonday 2/11, 10:25 PM CT
Raymond Felton led the Bobcats with 29 points thanks to solid shooting from the field (11-for-20), though it wasn't enough to lead the team to a victory. Felton also dished out eight assists, though he turned the ball over six times. Felton hadn't scored 20 points since December 12th, so you will just have to live with the six turnovers tonight.
Kobe Bryant, G, Los Angeles LakersMonday 2/11, 10:22 PM CT
Kobe Bryant scored 31 points to lead the Lakers to their fourth win in five games since acquiring Pau Gasol. Bryant made four 3-pointers and was 9-for-9 from the line in the game. Despite the points, Bryant had a bit of a down night with only two boards and five assists, numbers below his yearly average (6.2 and 5.3). Still he only took 17 shots, so at least he wasn't a massive ball hog.
Jameer Nelson, G, Orlando MagicMonday 2/11, 10:17 PM CT
Jameer Nelson played 38 minutes on Monday night and was able to score 22 points with four boards and four assists. Over the past three games Jameer has averaged 16.7 points and seven assists a game, and he continues to be a fine waiver-wire target for those of you in shallow leagues.
Hedo Turkoglu, G, Orlando MagicMonday 2/11, 10:14 PM CT
Hedo Turkoglu scored 25 points to lead all five Magic starters who scored in double digits in their 118-111 loss to the Cavs. Tukoglu continues his career season putting up huge numbers on a nightly basis. Tonight, besides the points, Hedo tossed in six boards and five assists while nailing 4-of-7 three pointers.
LeBron James, F, Cleveland CavaliersMonday 2/11, 10:11 PM CT
LeBron James scored 29 points and added 10 assists in the Cavs victory on Monday night. While Larry Hughes was scoring 40 points, James was efficient going 8-for-15 from the field and 12-for-15 from the line. He also tossed in seven assists in a tremendous all-around effort. If Hughes can start producing on a consistent basis, and Zydrunas Illgauskus stay stay healthy in the middle, James should have plenty of room to do his thing while being able to not have to win every game on his own.
Larry Hughes, G, Chicago BullsMonday 2/11, 10:07 PM CT
Larry Hughes scored a season best 40 points on Monday night to pace the Cavs on their way to a 118-111 victory over the Magic. Hughes blew up in the third period when he scored 23 points, more than double his season scoring average entering the game (10.8). The Cavaliers could really use Hughes in support of LeBron James, but thus far this season Hughes has been injured and producing numbers well below his career averages. Perhaps this will be the jump start he needs.
Chris Bosh, F, Toronto RaptorsMonday 2/11, 9:52 PM CT
Chris Bosh was held to just 11 points on Monday night thanks to a terrible night from the field (3-for-11). Bosh, who came into the game averaging 22.6 points per game, has now totaled only 25 points the past two games, though he has still hit the boards hard with 17 rebounds in those two games.
Jose Calderon, G, Toronto RaptorsMonday 2/11, 8:54 PM CT
Jose Calderon went out and proved that he is a special player on Monday night by scoring 27 points on 12-for-17 shooting. He also dishes out six assists. Earlier in the day a report surfaced that Gilbert Arenas didn't think Calderon was worthy of all-star consideration. Whether or not Jose is an all-star is a matter of opinion, but he is certainly a fantasy all-star with a performance like this one.
Manu Ginobili, G, San Antonio SpursMonday 2/11, 8:51 PM CT
Manu Ginobili scored a season-high 34 points and added a career best 14 rebounds to lead the Spurs to a 93-88 victory over the Raptors. Ginobili now has converted eleven 3-pointers over the past two games on 11-for-23 shooting from behind the arc. Wow. Manu continues to pour in the points for the Spurs and tonight he was able to limit his turnovers to two in a spectacular effort.
Dirk Nowitzki, F, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 8:46 PM CT
Dirk Nowitzki was held to 15 points on Monday night as the Mavs scored only 76 points in a loss to the Sixers. Dirk was only 4-for-15 from the field, and just 7-for-10 from the line, though he did still have nine boards and seven assists. This was the fifth time in six games that Dirk failed to record his season average in points (22.4), but he is still averaging nine rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in February, so his value remains as high as always.
Andre Miller, G, Philadelphia 76ersMonday 2/11, 8:36 PM CT
Andre Miller, continuing a terrific stretch of play, led the Sixers to their 4th straight victory, 84-76, by scoring 21 points on Monday night. Miller also added eight rebounds and seven assists in the game as he turned over the ball just one time. Fresh of player of the week honors, Miller went out and put up even better numbers than the one's that earned him the award, so start him with confidence now, he is white hot.
Jason Kidd, G, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 8:16 PM CT
Jason Kidd could be traded before the deadline, but don't count on him ending up in Dallas according to a report on ESPN. "For us to make the numbers work in a deal like that, we'd have to trade away half the team," Cuban said. We're not doing that, so it just doesn't work." Kidd is still unhappy in New Jersey, everyone knows that, and a change of scenery would likely do nothing but add a boost to his already high value.
Erick Dampier, C, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 6:39 PM CT
Erick Dampier sat out the Mavericks game on Monday night according to the AP, with a sprained ankle that according to HC Avery Johnson had him quite hobbled. "He just doesn't look well," Johnson said. Other than a brief stretch here and there, Dampier is nothing more than a center at best as his offensive game is limited to mostly put backs though he did average over eight boards a game in 14 January games.
Jerry Stackhouse, G, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 6:37 PM CT
Jerry Stackhouse sat out the Mavericks game on Monday night according to the AP. Stackhouse had missed seven games because of his injured hamstring though he did return to action on Friday night. However, he has now sat out the team's last two games. Stackhouse is averaging less than 10 points for the first time in his career (9.8) and shooting under 39% for the first time since 1998-99. He is nothing more than a depth player at his point of his illustrious career.
Gerald Wallace, F, Charlotte BobcatsMonday 2/11, 5:35 PM CT
Gerald Wallace will miss the next two games because of his injured foot, though he hopes to return after the All-Star game, this according to the Charlotte Observer. Look for Wallace to return shortly thereafter the break as the team is taking a cautious appraoch to avoid bringing back Wallace too early which could result in the injury worsening.
Jose Calderon, G, Toronto RaptorsMonday 2/11, 5:14 PM CT
Jose Calderon certainly doesn't have Agent Zero in his corner according to TSN. Gilbert Arenas, responding to the groundswell of support for Calderon to be named to the all-star team had this to say. "I understand Calderon has the best assist-turnover ratio in the league, but you know what's funny? All back-up point guards have the best assist-turnover ratios. Screw it, Kevin Ollie should be an All-Star then!" Wow. Tell us what you really think Gilbert. Calderon may not be an all-star, but he has been a fantastic player this season averaging 12.4 points and 8.9 assists while shooting 53.3% from the field and 92.1% from the free-throw line, and that's plenty good for us.
Ron Artest, F, Houston RocketsMonday 2/11, 4:58 PM CT
Ron Artest is being rumored to possibly be on the move to Denver according to a report in the Sacramento Bee. This rumor is just that, a rumor, and as such there is no substantive data to support it at the moment. However, it seems a fair bet that Artest may end up being moved prior to the trade deadline with his final destination obviously determining his value the rest of the way.
Udonis Haslem, F, Miami HeatMonday 2/11, 4:54 PM CT
Udonis Haslem received some good news when his ankle was removed from a walking boot on Monday according to the Sun Sentinel. Though he is progressing, HC Pat Riley said that Haslem is still a ways away from returning to the lineup. The upshot of this is that Shawn Marion will remain the team's power forward with Dorrell Wright at small forward. Once Haslem is healthy, look for the Heat to slide Marion back to the small forward position.
Andre Miller, G, Philadelphia 76ersMonday 2/11, 4:41 PM CT
Andre Miller was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week according to the AP. Miller averaged 19.5 points and nine assists a game helping to lead the Sixers to a 3-1 week. Miller is currently averaging a career-high 16.6 points per game, but he is under four rebounds (3.9) for the first time since his rookie season and his 6.5 assists per game is his lowest mark since 2003-04, though that is still solid all-around production.
Amare Stoudemire, F, Phoenix SunsMonday 2/11, 4:36 PM CT
Amare Stoudemire was named the Western Conference player of the week according to the AP. The Suns went 3-1 last week averaging 28.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.25 blocks, best in the West. Amare recorded a double-double in each of the four games. Stoudemire is averaging 23.1 points and 9.4 rebounds while shooting 58.7% from the field.
Shaquille O'Neal, C, Phoenix SunsMonday 2/11, 2:51 PM CT
Shaquille ONeal went through his first practice with the Suns on Monday and said afterward that he was winded but otherwise felt fine, according to the AP. O'Neal says it's going to take some time, though, for him to learn where he fits in the Suns' system. He says at this point in his career, he considers himself a role player. No date has been set for his first game with Phoenix.
D.J. Mbenga, C, Los Angeles LakersMonday 2/11, 2:46 PM CT
The Lakers signed center D.J. Mbenga for the rest of the season on Monday, just as he came to the end of his second 10-day contract with the team, according to the AP. In eight games with the Lakers, Mbenga has averaged 2.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.75 blocks, numbers which underline the fact he has no fantasy value.
Gilbert Arenas, G, Washington WizardsMonday 2/11, 1:59 PM CT
Gilbert Arenas told Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic he plans to return from left-knee surgery on March 1. Most published reports have Arenas out until mid-March.
Shaquille O'Neal, C, Phoenix SunsMonday 2/11, 1:55 PM CT
Washington guard Gilbert Arenas told the Arizona Republic that Shaquille ONeal will make the Suns NBA Champs. "It's going to put them over the top," Arenas said. "It just reminds me of Showtime, when Kareem (Abdul-Jabbar) couldn't run his (last) couple years. Just rebound. Just let them play basketball and, in the half-court, they went to him. "He's (O'Neal) at 325 right now and 11 percent body fat. He wasn't even at that when he won championship in Miami. He was probably playing possum down there"
Kirk Hinrich, G, Chicago BullsMonday 2/11, 1:51 PM CT
An NBA source told the Philadelphia Inquirer Sunday that Sixers executive vice president Larry Brown has drawn interest as a candidate for the Chicago Bulls' head coaching job. The Bulls fired Scott Skiles on Dec. 24. Three days later, Jim Boylan was named interim head coach for the rest of the season. Brown, a former Sixers coach for six years, has been out of coaching since the 2005-06 season, when he went 23-59 with the New York Knicks.

Theo Ratliff, who has missed all but six games because of a right knee injury this year, is practicing daily after having knee surgery and is expected back in a couple of weeks, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. The Timberwolves can hardly wait to put his shot-blocking ability to good use.
Tracy McGrady, G, Houston RocketsMonday 2/11, 10:05 AM CT
Tracy McGrady, whose upper respiratory infection required treatment through most of Thursday and forced him to miss Friday's practice, went through all of Sunday's light practice and said he was almost completely over the condition, according to the Houston Chronicle. "I was better (Saturday against the Hawks)," he said. "I felt stronger, more alert. I felt better. A lot better."
Luol Deng, G, Chicago BullsMonday 2/11, 10:01 AM CT
Luol Deng, who has been out since Jan. 23, said he expects to undergo another MRI today on his left Achilles tendon, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Deng doesn't expect to be back until after the All-Star break, meaning he'll miss at least two more games. Whenever Deng does return, Bulls coach Jim Boylan may not immediately hand him his old starting role. ''For me, I just don't give the job back to somebody,'' Boylan said. ''Guys who have been out for extended periods of time, they have to work their way back in. We give them every opportunity to do that. The situation we're in is one where time is running out. After the All-Star break, we'll have 30 games left. It's time now to do everything we can to win.''
Damon Jones, G, Milwaukee BucksMonday 2/11, 9:55 AM CT
Damon Jones had to leave the court early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game with a sprained right ankle, but the Akron Beacon-Journal reports that the injury isn't serious, and Jones said he expects to be able to play Monday in Orlando. Caron Butler could return from his strained hip Monday night when the Wizards play at Golden State, according to the Washington Post. Butler is averaging a career best 21.4 points per game while making 91.3% of his free throws and 47.6% of his shots from the field.
Jerry Stackhouse, G, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 8:05 AM CT

Stackhouse missed Sunday's game and is listed as day-to-day, but it's possible he'll sit until the All-Star break, which would give him an extra six days of recovery time.
Erick Dampier, C, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 8:00 AM CT
Erick Dampier came back Sunday from a one-game absence with a sprained ankle, but when he came down after a dunk early in the contest he was favoring his right ankle, according to the Dallas Morning News. Tim Thomas, F, New York KnicksMonday 2/11, 7:55 AM CT

Leandro Barbosa, G, Phoenix SunsMonday 2/11, 3:32 AM CT
Leandro Barbosa was a miserable 2-for-12 shooting in Sunday's win over the Wizards before leaving the game early in the fourth quarter with flu-like symptoms. The team considers the speedy guard day-to-day according to the AP.
Shaquille O'Neal, C, Phoenix SunsMonday 2/11, 3:29 AM CT
Shaquille ONeal , yet to play for Phoenix because of a hip injury that has sidelined him for two weeks, drew a huge ovation when he walked to the Suns' bench just before tipoff according to the AP. He worked out lightly before the game and was scheduled to practice on Monday. D'Antoni said he would meet with the big center and the trainer after Tuesday's practice to help determine when Shaq might make his debut with Phoenix. The Suns have two games before the All-Star break -- Wednesday at Golden State and Thursday at home against Dallas.
Amare Stoudemire, F, Phoenix SunsMonday 2/11, 3:26 AM CT
Amare Stoudemire scored 31 points as the Suns found the fortitude to hold off the Wizards 108-107 on Sunday night. Stoudemire has consecutive games of at least 30 points and 10 rebounds for the first time since Feb. 8-9, 2005. In the three games since the trade brought Shaquille O'Neal from Miami, Stoudemire is averaging 30 points and 16.5 rebounds. One has to believe the trade for the 'Shaq' has motivated the Suns starting center.
Allen Iverson, G, Detroit PistonsMonday 2/11, 3:20 AM CT
Allen Iverson scored 25 points and recorded 13 assists in a blowout Sunday win at Cleveland. The double-double is his fifth in the last six games.
Sasha Pavlovic, G, Cleveland CavaliersMonday 2/11, 3:15 AM CT
Sasha Pavlovic , who could miss two months, is scheduled to have a cast removed in the next few days according to the AP. "Finally," he said. "I'm sick of it." Pavlovic, who missed training camp in a contract holdout, will be happy to see live action soon. The Cavs shooting guard has little fantasy value despite his 22-plus minutes per game average.
Daniel Gibson, G, Cleveland CavaliersMonday 2/11, 3:11 AM CT
Daniel Gibson missed his second straight game Sunday, a lopsided loss to the Nuggets. Gibson's strained right hamstring could keep him out of next weekend's All-Star activities in New Orleans. He's scheduled to play in the rookie-sophomore challenge and 3-point shootout.
Steven Hunter, C, Denver NuggetsMonday 2/11, 3:06 AM CT
Steven Hunter missed his second straight game with a sore right knee. The Nuggets big body remains day-to-day as he continues to attempt to regain full range of motion in his surgically repaired knee.
LeBron James, F, Cleveland CavaliersMonday 2/11, 3:03 AM CT
LeBron James scored 30 points in Sunday's lopsided loss to the Nuggets. James wasn't his well-rounded self adding just five rebounds and three assists to his point total. In James' defense the Cavs are missing several key players to injury.

Jose Calderon, G, Toronto RaptorsMonday 2/11, 2:56 AM CT
Jose Calderon recorded a double-double Sunday night against Minnesota. The point guard scored 15 points and registered 10 assists in the Toronto win. The return of T.J. Ford, who will continue to come off the bench, will diminish Caleron's opportunities and thus his fantasy value.
Al Jefferson, F, Minnesota TimberwolvesMonday 2/11, 2:49 AM CT
Al Jefferson had five double-doubles in his last six games heading into Sunday's matchup against Toronto. He recorded an 18-point, nine-rebound performance for the second straight game. The Wolves leading scorer has been a fantasy machine this season, averaging a strong double-double with nearly 22 points and 12 rebounds per game.
Rasheed Wallace, F, Detroit PistonsMonday 2/11, 2:38 AM CT
Rasheed Wallace was named to the Eastern Conference All-Star team on Sunday, replacing injured Kevin Garnett. Wallace was held to eight points Sunday against the Bobcats, his second straight poor scoring performance.
Tayshaun Prince, F, Detroit PistonsMonday 2/11, 2:37 AM CT

Nenad Krstic , who is playing his way back into form after a serious ACL injury last year, scored eight points and registered eight rebounds in the Nets win over Dallas.
Jason Kidd, G, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 2:28 AM CT
Jason Kidd continues to demand a trade but plays with purpose as the veteran finished with 13 points, 14 assists and six rebounds in the destruction of the Mavericks 101-82 on Sunday night. There seems to be very little interest around the league for Kidd's services. Falling just four rebounds shy of his 100th career triple-double should send a message to teams looking to bolster their roster for a playoff run.
Vince Carter, G, New Jersey NetsMonday 2/11, 1:09 AM CT
Vince Carter scored 25 of his 29 points after taking a hard elbow to the head on Sunday night as the Nets beat-up the Mavericks 101-82. Carter had to leave the contest for a short period, but was able to return and lead the Nets to a big win. Carter is not expected to miss playing time to the mild concussion.
Erick Dampier, C, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 12:50 AM CT
Erick Dampier returned to the lineup Sunday in New Jersey after missing the Memphis game with a sprained right ankle. The veteran finished with four points and three rebounds in 11 minutes of action. Dampier is nothing more than a big body on a Dallas team that doesn't have to rely on their big man to score.
Jose Barea, G, Dallas MavericksMonday 2/11, 12:46 AM CT
Rookie Jose Barea , who recently entered the Mavericks starting lineup due to an injury to Devin Harris, was offensively inept Sunday in Jersey. The point guard scored two points on 1-of-7 shooting, with zero assists and two rebounds -- in 17 minutes of court time. Barea is the starter in Dallas until Devin Harris returns, but that doesn't mean he should start in fantasy formats.
