Ron Artest was held under 20 points for the first time in seven games as the Kings fell to the Grizzlies 107-94. Artest, not expected to be a King after the approaching trade-deadline, entered Tuesday's game averaging 23 points over the team's last six contests.
Kevin Martin, G, Sacramento KingsTuesday 2/12, 11:35 PM CT
Kevin Martin scored 26 of his 33 points in the first half of Tuesday's loss to the Griz. Martin, who is averaging over 23 points per game this year, recorded his second straight poor shooting performance. The Kings shooting guard was 9-of-23 from the field. In Sunday's loss to Golden State, Martin made just 3-of-16 shots. The third-year guard has been inconsistent as of late but is a must start in traditional formats.
Rudy Gay, G, Memphis GrizzliesTuesday 2/12, 11:22 PM CT
Rudy Gay scored 21 points to help the Memphis Grizzlies to a 107-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings. The victory snapped a six-game losing streak for the Grizzlies and was the team's first win since trading Gasol to the Lakers Feb. 1.

Hakim Warrick scored 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, both season-highs, to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 107-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings. For Warrick, making only his second start of the season, the double-double was the seventh of his career.

Andres Nocioni, F, Chicago BullsTuesday 2/12, 10:58 PM CT
Andres Nocioni led the Bulls with 28 points in Tuesday's loss to the Hornets. Nocioni produces when he receives the minutes he did tonight (40). The last time the Bulls shooting forward logged 40 ticks he scored 22 against the Trail Blazers. As long as the Bulls continue to suffer multiple injuries, Nocioni will produce.
David West, F, New Orleans HornetsTuesday 2/12, 10:54 PM CT
David West scored 27 points leading the Hornets to a 100-86 victory over the Bulls on Tuesday night. West missed his third straight double-double by registering only seven rebounds in the victory.
Chris Paul, G, New Orleans HornetsTuesday 2/12, 10:49 PM CT
Chris Paul had 25 points and 14 assists in an impressive performance on Tuesday night. The Hornets defeated the Bulls 100-86. The loss was Chicago's sixth in its last nine contests. After only scoring two points on 1-for-10 shooting in a win against Memphis on Saturday, Paul scored 10 points in the first half for the Hornets on 5-for-10 shooting.

Jason Kidd scored nine points, registered nine assists and pulled down 10 rebounds in Tuesday night's 92-88 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was the second straight game that the veteran just missed his 100th triple-double. Kidd continues to prove he can still contribute, and is doing his best impression of a player trying to impress playoff-bound organizations.
Bostjan Nachbar, F, New Jersey NetsTuesday 2/12, 9:42 PM CT
Bostjan Nachbar came off the bench in the second half and scored 10 of his 14 points in a decisive spurt to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 92-88 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night. Nachbar has made the most of his playing time of late. He's a solid presence off of the Nets' bench, but his inconsistent minutes and production makes him more of a liability than a fantasy asset. Outside of deep formats, he has little value.
Gilbert Arenas, G, Washington WizardsTuesday 2/12, 7:51 PM CT
Gilbert Arenas told the Arizona Republic on Monday he plans to return from left-knee surgery on March 1. Most published reports have Arenas out until mid-March but according to the Washington Post it's obvious that he is close to returning, and it has nothing to do with medical reports or seeing him play. He has had an increased presence in the locker room in recent weeks and before last night's game, it was like old times. After walking in soaked in sweat following an intense workout on the court, Gilbert was sitting around with teammates, ribbing rookie Nick Young. Gilbert is obviously feeling like Gilbert again and that is a good sign for this team. A March 1 return by Gilbert would actually give fantasy owners, who protected his services, a strong scorer heading into postseason play.
DeShawn Stevenson, G, Washington WizardsTuesday 2/12, 7:43 PM CT
DeShawn Stevenson is truly hurting according to the Washington Post. But given the team's other injuries, he continues to play through a knee injury. He's now started 218 straight games, which is the third longest streak in the NBA. Stevenson, Jamison and Blatche are the only Wiz who have played in every game this season. Coach Eddie Jordan told the Post that Stevenson is a warrior. "He is on one wheel and hopefully, we can get him out there (tonight against Golden State). He just likes to play. He's just built that way. He's built to get through pain I guess," the head coach said.
Shaquille O'Neal, C, Phoenix SunsTuesday 2/12, 6:08 PM CT
During an interview for ESPN’s “Sunday Conversation,” Shaquille ONeal shot back at analyst Bill Walton, who suggested that if O’Neal comes back healthy and produces it will be proof that he was faking an injury while with Miami. According to the East Valley Tribune, “If I’m faking an injury, then (Walton’s) whole injury-plagued career is a fake,” O’Neal said. “We’re talking about someone who only played one or two seasons injury-free. One thing I really hate is a hypocrite. “Mr. Walton has broken the big man’s ordinance code 225.27 — no big man under should talk about a big man above. It’s just not right and it’s disrespectful.” Shaq is expected to take part in his first game as a Sun after the All Star break.
Leandro Barbosa, G, Phoenix SunsTuesday 2/12, 6:03 PM CT

Head coach P.J. Carlesimo told Seattle PI that Mickael Gelabale will return from his stint in the NBDL on Tuesday and will become part of the rotation for the rest of the season. Mouhamed Sene will return to Seattle for his NBDL break but he will go back to Idaho when the All-Star Break is over, according to Seattle PI.

Richard Hamilton, G, Detroit PistonsTuesday 2/12, 5:35 PM CT
Richard Hamilton is suffering from food poisoning and didn’t attend the team’s Tuesday shoot-around, according to the Detroit Free Press. Pistons coach Flip Saunders was unsure whether he’d be available for tonight’s game and is listed as a game-time decision. If Hamilton is inactive, look for rookie Arron Afflalo to get the start. Saunders started Afflalo early in the season when Hamilton was out for the birth of his son.

Charlie Villanueva suffered a sprained right ankle in the third quarter of the Bucks' 96-89 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers Monday night, according to JS Online. The Knicks are open to trading Malik Rose, according to the NY Daily News, but Curry and Randolph, who have failed to mesh during this 15-26 season, are the top priorities to send packing. By putting Curry and Randolph on the block, Thomas is admitting that his two most-recent major acquisitions have not panned out.
Zach Randolph, F, New York KnicksTuesday 2/12, 1:16 PM CT
The NY Daily News reported Tuesday that the Knicks have seen the Zach Randolph - Eddy Curry experiment flop and with the trading deadline only nine days away, the team is shopping their two big men. It's not known exactly what Isiah Thomas is looking for in return - a Pau Gasol-type fire sale is not being conducted - but he's definitely trying to move both.

Luther Head, G, Houston RocketsTuesday 2/12, 10:44 AM CT
Luther Head was on the inactive list for the fourth consecutive game Monday with a strained groin muscle. He is expected to be out Wednesday against the Kings, the Rockets' last game before the All-Star break. Dwight Howard, C, Orlando MagicTuesday 2/12, 10:01 AM CT
Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said he and Dwight Howard have "a little bit of conflict" that finally resulted Monday in the coach benching Howard for a two-minute stretch of a fairly tight game in the fourth quarter after the center said something he didn't like. Van Gundy wouldn't elaborate on what exactly was said. "That's going to be between Dwight and I, but his focus isn't where it needs to be," Van Gundy told the Orlando Sentinel. "I don't think right now we're on the same page, to be quite honest."
Ben Gordon, G, Chicago BullsTuesday 2/12, 9:53 AM CT

Antawn Jamison scored 25 points with 10 rebounds and six assists against his former team (the Warriors). Jamison is about as steady a performer as there is in the NBA, a trait he has flashed in seven February games in which he has scored at least 16 points and had at least seven boards in every time out.
Roger Mason Jr, G, San Antonio SpursTuesday 2/12, 12:04 AM CT
Roger Mason Jr scored 32 points and dished out six assists in the Wizards loss to the Warriors. Mason was 13-for-20 from the field including 5-of-7 on three's. Mason has come on of late with at least 14 points in four of the past six games, though he also sprinkled in two games where he went 2-for-8 from the field, so it's not wise to count on consistent production from him.
Stephen Jackson, G, Golden State WarriorsTuesday 2/12, 12:01 AM CT
Stephen Jackson set a season-high with 41 points as the Warriors overcame a 23-point deficit to emerge victorious over the Wizards 120-117. Jackson was money from the line making a career-high 15 out of 17 from the charity stripe, and he scored 26 points after halftime. This is why Jackson should have made the all-star game. Jackson willed the team back from a massive deficit thanks in part to his free-throw shooting and four made 3's.
