Travis Outlaw's 23 points was Portland's only bright spot on Tuesday night as the Trailblazers fell to the Bibby-less Kings 105-94. The loss was the Blazers fifth straight. Outlaw came off the bench to shoot 11-of-18 from the floor and record five rebounds in 27 minutes of action.

Ron Artest, F, Sacramento KingsTuesday 2/19, 11:45 PM CT
Ron Artest dropped 24 points on the Portland Trailblazers Tuesday night helping the Sacramento Kings to a 105-94 win. Sacramento was playing its first game without veteran Mike Bibby. Artest added five rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes.
Andre Iguodala, F, Philadelphia 76ersTuesday 2/19, 11:41 PM CT
Andre Iguodala wasn't sharp in Tuesday's loss to the Timberwolves. The shooting forward scored 17 points, just short of his 19.4 average on the season, but was 6-16 from the floor and 4-9 from the line with five rebounds. Iguodala remains a second-tier fantasy forward in traditional formats.
Al Jefferson, F, Minnesota TimberwolvesTuesday 2/19, 10:33 PM CT
Al Jefferson scored 19 points and pulled own 14 rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 104-88 on Tuesday night. Jefferson continued his fantasy tear as the Wolves broke a five game losing streak. Jefferson is averaging 20-10-plus on the season.
Chris Richard, F, Minnesota TimberwolvesTuesday 2/19, 10:26 PM CT
Wolves coach Randy Wittman told the Wolves radio network prior to Tuesday's game against the 76ers that reserve forward Chris Richard returned from the D-league fresh. "In practice yesterday he looked more confident, more active," Wittman said. Richard has played in 25 games this year averaging less than two points and two rebounds per game.
Theo Ratliff, C, Detroit PistonsTuesday 2/19, 10:22 PM CT
Theo Ratliff, who was inactive again Tuesday night, is close to returning to active duty. Wolves coach Randy Wittman told the Wolves radio network that Ratliff could return as soon as this weekend.

Rashad McCants scored 20 points off the bench Tuesday night and the Minnesota Timberwolves ended a five-game losing streak by beating the Philadelphia 76ers 104-88. McCants has been playing through a right ankle injury.

Charlie Villanueva will start at power forward for the Bucks on Wednesday vs. Detroit, reports JS Online. Milwaukee Bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak told the paper Tuesday that Villanueva will start and rookie Yi Jianlian will come off the bench. Villanueva played himself into the role with his performances prior to the All Star break. The forward recorded double-double's against Memphis and New York in two of the team's last five games. Villanueva missed the teams final game before the break to a sprained ankle but has returned to practice and is ready for the team's Wednesday night game against Detroit.
Caron Butler, F, Washington WizardsTuesday 2/19, 4:52 PM CT
Former KC Star columnist Ivan Carter, now covering the NBA for the Washington Post, suggests that Caron Butler is out for tonight's game against the Knicks. Carter said that Butler went through the morning shootaround but is still not right. The Wiz's next game is Friday night at Cleveland which would offer Butler some additional recovery time. If Butler doesn't dress, Andray Blatche will get the start.
Monta Ellis, G, Golden State WarriorsTuesday 2/19, 4:20 PM CT
Over his last five games, Monta Ellis is averaging 27.8 points, shooting a crazy 70 percent from the floor, hauling in six rebounds and dishing out four assists per game. His 37 vs. the Suns on Wednesday came with a career-high 18 field goals, according to SF Gate. "He's hot," Suns coach Mike D'Antoni said. "He's got everything. He's got the little jump shot, going to the basket, very athletic, young legs. He's in a real good moment." If the vote was cast today Ellis would be the leagues Most Improved Player. With his FG line at 53 percent, he trails only Utah's Ronnie Brewer (55 percent) and Toronto's Jose Calderon (54 percent) among the league's guards.
Chris Paul, G, New Orleans HornetsTuesday 2/19, 4:10 PM CT
Chris Paul had a great showing in the All-Star Game, and was easily the best of the Western conference. Paul lead the team with 14 assists to go along with 16 points and four steals in 27 minutes of the East's 134-128 win. Paul's performance and the game's success are perfect timing for the Hornets, who entered the All-Star Weekend as one of the NBA's more struggling franchises. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that team has the option to terminate their lease with the city if the Hornets do not average 14,735 fans for this season and next, which raises the specter of relocation. Paul figures to be a huge fantasy asset as owners head toward the playoff rounds.
Kevin Garnett, F, Boston CelticsTuesday 2/19, 3:31 PM CT
Coach Doc Rivers said it's "50-50" whether Kevin Garnett returns to the lineup tonight, according to the Boston Globe. KG has said he's ready to return from his abdominal strain, but the final decision will be up to Rivers. We're putting our money on Garnett suiting up.
Shaquille O'Neal, C, Phoenix SunsTuesday 2/19, 3:27 PM CT
Shaquille ONeal is finally ready to make his Suns debut. Shaq, who's coming back from a hip injury, made it through Sunday's and Monday's practices and should be on the floor tomorrow night against his former team, the Lakers. He could need a little bit of time to get his feet wet with his new team, but Shaq is still good enough that you should probably put him back in your lineup immediately.
Anderson Varejao, F, Cleveland CavaliersTuesday 2/19, 3:24 PM CT
Anderson Varejao was back at practice Monday for the first time since suffering a left ankle sprain on Jan. 27, though he didn't take part in any contact drills. The earliest he could probably play is Sunday, but more than likely he'll be back next week sometime, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal. Varejao is usable in deeper leagues where he's eligible at center, but that's about it.
Daniel Gibson, G, Cleveland CavaliersTuesday 2/19, 3:16 PM CT
Daniel Gibson told the Akron Beacon-Journal that his hamstring injury is back to 100 percent and that he'd return to the lineup tonight. He missed four games with the malady.

T.J. Ford, G, Toronto RaptorsTuesday 2/19, 3:09 PM CT
T.J. Ford suffered a slight abdominal strain in practice Monday. The injury could keep Ford from playing Wednesday night. "If he can go, he can go," coach Sam Mitchell said in the Toronto Star. "If not, we do what we've always done – go to Plans B and C.". Plan B is Jose Calderon, who has been terrific this year while filling in when Ford's been injured.
Ben Gordon, G, Chicago BullsTuesday 2/19, 3:02 PM CT
Ben Gordon plans to return to action Wednesday, according to the Chicago Tribune. He's been out since Feb. 4 with a sprained wrist. Re-insert Gordon into your lineup right away.

Kobe Bryant is determined to make it through the rest of the season without having surgery on his ailing pinkie. "I'm going to go all the way with it," Bryant said in the LA Times. "If it dislocates again, we'll have to rest it, ice it, do whatever we need to do. But that's my plan." Surgery would've sidelined Kobe for six weeks, but under the current plan he should be back on the floor right away. Just pray that he doesn't re-injure the digit.
Gerald Wallace, F, Charlotte BobcatsTuesday 2/19, 2:49 PM CT
Gerald Wallace practiced at full speed Monday and looks to be ready to return to action tonight, according to the Charlotte Observer. He's missed the last two games with a foot injury.
Trenton Hassell, G, New Jersey NetsTuesday 2/19, 12:34 PM CT
Trenton Hassell is headed to New Jersey as part of the Kidd deal. Hassell is playing a career-low 12.6 minutes per game this year. That number could go up with the Nets, but Hassell's value is in his perimeter defense. He's not a fantasy factor.
Maurice Ager, G, New Jersey NetsTuesday 2/19, 12:32 PM CT
Maurice Ager was sent to the Nets Tuesday as part of the Kidd deal. Ager could get a bit more playing time with Jersey, but that's not saying much.
DeSagana Diop, C, New Jersey NetsTuesday 2/19, 12:30 PM CT
DeSagana Diop is heading to New Jersey as part of the Kidd trade. Diop represents nothing but a big body, as his 3.0 points per game shows.
Devin Harris, G, New Jersey NetsTuesday 2/19, 12:29 PM CT
Devin Harris was sent to New Jersey Tuesday as part of the Kidd trade. Harris will take over Kidd's spot as the Nets' starting point guard. Harris' fantasy value won't be dramatically affected.
Antoine Wright, G, Dallas MavericksTuesday 2/19, 12:26 PM CT
Antoine Wright was acquired by the Mavericks Tuesday as part of the Kidd deal. Wright started the year off pretty well for the Nets, but his production has waned in recent months. His minutes will probably do down in Dallas, making him even less of a fantasy factor.
Malik Allen, F, Dallas MavericksTuesday 2/19, 12:22 PM CT
The Mavericks acquired Malik Allen Tuesday as part of the Kidd deal. Allen is averaging 5.4 points in 48 games this year. He won't see any increase in minutes as a result of this move.
Jason Kidd, G, Dallas MavericksTuesday 2/19, 12:20 PM CT
Jason Kidd is finally a Dallas Maverick. The point guard heads to Texas along with forward Malik Allen and guard Antoine Wright. New Jersey gets point guard Devin Harris, center DeSagana Diop and swingman Maurice Ager, plus retired forward Keith Van Horn and Trenton Hassell. The Nets also pick up two first-round draft picks and $3 million. Kidd still can't shoot, but he will obviously make the players around him in Dallas a lot better.
Kevin Garnett, F, Boston CelticsTuesday 2/19, 8:52 AM CT
Kevin Garnett says he's ready to return to the lineup after going through practice Monday night. "I feel great," Garnett said in the AP. "It felt good. For the most part, it was good to be out there battling, going over some things and helping the team to get better. It's just good to be out [there], to tell you the truth. It felt good." The decision on whether Garnett returns from his abdominal strain Tuesday will be up to coach Doc Rivers, though. If KG does play tonight, his minutes figure to be limited.
