Manu Ginobili scored 30 points and hit the game winning shot with only 13.2 seconds left to give San Antonio a 96-94 victory over Milwaukee on Saturday night. Ginobili is simply tearing up the court and fantasy owners are riding his scoring coat tails.
Mike Miller, G, Minnesota TimberwolvesSaturday 3/1, 11:47 PM CT
Memphis was again without shooting guard Mike Miller on Saturday night, the team's second-leading scorer. It is the sixth straight game Miller has been inactive because of a sore back. Andre Iguodala scored 32 points as the Philadelphia 76ers saddled Phoenix with their second straight home loss on Saturday night. The Suns fell to 2-4 since Shaquille O'Neal joined the lineup.
Jameer Nelson, G, Orlando MagicSaturday 3/1, 9:03 PM CT
Jameer Nelson, who is suffering from a strained hamstring and a bought with the flu, was inactive for Saturday's win over New York. Nelson was injured in the Magic's loss to Philadelphia on Wednesday and is considered day-to-day.
Keyon Dooling, G, Orlando MagicSaturday 3/1, 9:00 PM CT
Dooling (sprained left foot), who was injured in the Magic's loss to Philadelphia on Wednesday, was inactive in Saturday's win over the Knicks. Dooling remains day-to-day.
Jamal Crawford, G, New York KnicksSaturday 3/1, 8:54 PM CT
Jamal Crawford scored 23 points and registered seven assists in Saturday's loss to the Magic. Crawford had 17 points in the first quarter and a half helping the Knicks to an early lead. But lacking defense and effort, the Knicks allowed the short-handed Magic to shoot better than 50 percent from the floor eventually giving away a game they probably should have won.
Dwight Howard, F, Orlando MagicSaturday 3/1, 8:50 PM CT
Dwight Howard had 26 points and 22 rebounds as the Orlando Magic beat the New York Knicks 118-92 on Saturday night. Howard and the Magic took full advantage of the inactive Zach Randolph and attacked the paint.
Tim Thomas, F, Los Angeles ClippersSaturday 3/1, 8:47 PM CT
After looking like he was healthy in Monday's loss to the Celtics, when Tim Thomas has 15 points and nine rebounds, the forward left Friday's game with a strained groin and is questionable for tonight's home game against Detroit. In 48 games this year, Thomas is averaging 13 points and five rebounds per game.
Chucky Atkins, G, Denver NuggetsSaturday 3/1, 7:03 PM CT
Chucky Atkins, absent from active duty since having sports hernia surgery Jan. 11, told the Rocky Mountain News he could play as soon as next weekend." Atkins said he expects to participate in Denver’s next practice on Monday. “If I don’t play next weekend, I should be playing by that following Wednesday (the Nuggets play Memphis at home March 12),’’ said Atkins. The Nuggets are rumored to be looking at Tyronn Lue, who was let go by Sacramento on Friday.
Zach Randolph, F, New York KnicksSaturday 3/1, 6:58 PM CT

Yao Ming, C, Houston RocketsSaturday 3/1, 4:59 PM CT
Yao Ming has opted for surgery to repair the stress fracture in his left foot, this according to the Houston Chronicle. The decision wasn't a hasty one as Yao met with several specialists to review his options. The surgery will be performed by Rockets team physician Dr. Tom Clanton on Monday. Ming is expected to be fully recovered for the start of the 2008-09 season.
Chris Bosh, F, Toronto RaptorsSaturday 3/1, 3:41 PM CT
The Raptors likely will sit Chris Bosh for at least the next three games to rest the sore knee that forced him out of Friday's contest, according to the Toronto Star. From the sounds of the report, Bosh isn't in bad shape right now, and the Raptors can afford to rest him in order to keep it from getting worse. The team is focused primarily on having Bosh and his knee as healthy as possible in mid April when the playoffs begin. While Bosh is out, Rasho Nesterovic will start in place of Bosh, but you can expect more production from Jose Calderon, T.J. Ford, and Andrea Bargnani.
Chris Bosh, F, Toronto RaptorsSaturday 3/1, 1:00 PM CT
An MRI on Chris Bosh's sore knee revealed no structural damage, and he's now listed as day-to-day, according to the Toronto Star. Hopefully, he'll be back in action soon, but this is concerning, since it's the same joint that's bothered him at times since the preseason.
Jamaal Tinsley, G, Indiana PacersSaturday 3/1, 12:54 PM CT
Jamaal Tinsley said on Friday he still doesn't know when he'll be able to play again, according to the Indianapolis Star. Tinsley's still battling an ailing knee. With his extensive injury history, there's a realistic chance that he won't play again this season, but you never know. If the Pacers follow through with their plan to sign Flip Murray, it's likely a sign they don't expect Tinsley back anytime soon.
Ronald Murray, G, Indiana PacersSaturday 3/1, 12:51 PM CT
Ronald Murray is now expected to sign with the Pacers, according to the Indianapolis Star. A report Friday had Flip headed to the Clippers, but it appears that he's changed course. Both teams need help in their backcourts, so he would get a fair amount of play with either squad.
Chauncey Billups, G, Detroit PistonsSaturday 3/1, 12:43 PM CT
At this time, the Pistons do not expect Chauncey Billups to rejoin them in time for Saturday's game, according to the Detroit Free Press. Dwyane Wade said he's not inclined to take coach Pat Riley up on his offer to shut the superstar down for the season due to his still-recovering, surgically repaired knee, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "Right now," Wade said, "my job is to come out here every day and lead my team." Wade added that Riley hasn't actually spoken to him directly about being shut down at some point. Still, Wade has never looked close to fully recovered from the surgery this season, despite his quality overall fantasy performance. He's the franchise, and the Heat are pathetic, so it would be a greater surprise if he's still balling come April.

Wally Szczerbiak skipped Friday's game and will miss Sunday's run, too, to be with his wife for the birth of their third child, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He's still trying to find his stroke since being dealt from Seattle to Cleveland, but he could be a decent source of triples down the stretch if he can get his game on.
Ira Newble, F, Los Angeles LakersSaturday 3/1, 12:29 PM CT
The Sonics waived Ira Newble Friday after acquiring him at the trade deadline last week, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He can sign with any team once he clears waivers, but that won't matter in fantasy terms, because he doesn't do much statistically.
Thabo Sefolosha, G, Chicago BullsSaturday 3/1, 12:22 PM CT
Thabo Sefolosha was unable to play through his sore groin on Friday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Interim Bulls coach Jim Boylan said Sefolosha is day-to-day at this point. Larry Hughes started in place of Sefolosha Friday and could claim the job full time -- or not. Expect the Bulls starting lineup and rotation to continue in flux the rest of the season.
