Mike Dunleavy, G, Indiana PacersSunday 3/2, 11:16 PM CT
Mike Dunleavy tied a career high for the second straight game Sunday, scoring 36 points on 11-of-17 from the field. He also filled up the statsheet with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. This is easily the best season of Dunleavy's career, and he is a must-start at the moment.
Yi Jianlian, F, New Jersey NetsSunday 3/2, 10:41 PM CT
Yi Jianlian left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter after suffering an ankle injury, according to Sports Network. We'll update you on Yi's status when more news becomes available.
Marko Jaric, G, Memphis GrizzliesSunday 3/2, 9:50 PM CT
Marko Jaric sat out Sunday's game with an injured right thigh, according to the AP. Hopefully Jaric will be good to go by Tuesday.
Manu Ginobili, G, San Antonio SpursSunday 3/2, 9:43 PM CT
Coach Gregg Popovich said that Manu Ginobili would stay in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future, but Michael Finely, not Ginobili, was in the lineup for the Spurs on Sunday. Ginobili played 29 minutes off the bench, the first time in the last 12 games he hasn't topped 30 minutes. He scored 17 points while adding four rebounds and three assists. Ginobili had been an animal since moving into the starting lineup 14 games ago, so this is not a positive development for his owners.
Acie Law, G, Atlanta HawksSunday 3/2, 9:21 PM CT
Acie Law missed his fifth straight game Sunday, but it appears he'll be back in the lineup shortly. The point guard stayed home in Atlanta instead of traveling to Boston so he could get more treatments on his sprained left wrist, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Coach Mike Woodson said he expects his backup point guard to play Tuesday. Law isn't worth anything as long as Mike Bibby is healthy, but he would be a nice pickup should Bibby get injured.
Gerald Wallace, F, Charlotte BobcatsSunday 3/2, 8:42 PM CT
Gerald Wallace is scheduled to undergo more tests this week and hopes to be cleared to play soon, according to the AP. He's missed the last four games after suffering a Grade 3 concussion. We should know more about Wallace's status later in the week.
Bostjan Nachbar, F, New Jersey NetsSunday 3/2, 8:38 PM CT
Bostjan Nachbar didn't play in the second half Sunday after suffering a strained left hip flexor, according to the AP. We'll update you on Nachbar's status when more is known.
Bonzi Wells, G, New Orleans HornetsSunday 3/2, 8:36 PM CT
Bonzi Wells returned to action Sunday after missing two games with a bruised Achilles tendon, according to the AP. He played just over seven minutes, scoring two points on 1-of-3 shooting, though he did add six rebounds. Wells could eventually be worth owning once he settles in in New Orleans, but right now he's pretty useless.
Kobe Bryant, G, Los Angeles LakersSunday 3/2, 6:58 PM CT
Kobe Bryant exploded for 52 points on 15-of-27 shooting Sunday. Kobe also added 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks for good measure. It's the first time this season but the 22nd time in Bryant's career that he's topped the 50-point mark. He's pretty good, eh?
Erick Dampier, C, Dallas MavericksSunday 3/2, 6:54 PM CT
Erick Dampier had 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting while adding 17 rebounds before fouling out of Sunday's overtime loss to the Lakers. You can never count on much offensive production from the big man, but he has averaged 13.5 boards over the last four games and is a worthy start.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas, C, Cleveland CavaliersSunday 3/2, 3:28 PM CT
The back injury that kept Zydrunas Ilgauskas from taking part in Sunday's game is expected to keep him sidelined for at least two weeks, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I'll be out for at least two weeks," Ilgauskas said. "I've been fighting it for the past two or three months and it just got worse over the last few days." Let's hope the big fella can shake this off quickly and keep it from becoming a nagging problem. Anderson Varejao should continue to start in Big Z's stead.
Drew Gooden, F, Chicago BullsSunday 3/2, 3:21 PM CT
Drew Gooden moved into the starting lineup for the Bulls on Sunday, replacing Tyrus Thomas. It's not clear if this was just because Gooden was facing his old Cavs squad or if this is a permanent move. Gooden scored 11 points and pulled down 10 boards in the loss. You know Gooden can get a double-double, but Thomas has all of the fantasy upside, as he can contribute blocks and is a freakish athlete. Thomas still had two rejections, 12 points and seven boards in just 24 minutes Sunday.
Wally Szczerbiak, G, Cleveland CavaliersSunday 3/2, 3:16 PM CT
Wally Szczerbiak had been expected to sit out his second straight game Sunday due to the birth of his son, but he was back with the Cavs for their win over the Bulls. He played 26 minutes off the bench, hit six of his 13 shot attempts and finished with 17 points and three triples. Szczerbiak should continue to score in the teens and average 2-3 treys the rest of the season.
Manu Ginobili, G, San Antonio SpursSunday 3/2, 12:59 PM CT
Manu Ginobili is going to stay in the Spurs' starting lineup for the foreseeable future, according to the San Antonio Express. "At this point, it's not a point of contention for anybody," coach Gregg Popovich said. "We'll probably just roll with the way we're going for now." Ginobili has been a monster since moving into the starting lineup 14 games ago, and fantasy folk must be thrilled that Pop is finally willing to turn his guard loose. Let's hope it lasts.
Bonzi Wells, G, New Orleans HornetsSunday 3/2, 12:52 PM CT
Bonzi Wells is listed by the Hornets as questionable for Sunday's game, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He's missed the past two games due to a bruised Achilles tendon after recently being acquired from the Rockets.
Marko Jaric, G, Memphis GrizzliesSunday 3/2, 12:41 PM CT
T-Wolves coach Randy Wittman said that Marko Jaric will be a game-time decision on Sunday, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Jaric still is dealing with a sore knee and may be limited, even if he does lace up for the contest.
Ronald Murray, G, Atlanta HawksSunday 3/2, 12:27 PM CT
As expected, Ronald Murray has inked a deal with the Pacers after passing on a chance to roll with the Clippers, according to the Indianapolis Star. "It was a tough decision," Murray said. "We were almost there (with the Clippers) then a call came from (Indiana) causing a change of plans real quick." He'll back up Travis Diener, at least until or unless Jamaal Tinsley can finally make it back from his ailing knee. Flip could have some value in deep leagues.
Zach Randolph, F, New York KnicksSunday 3/2, 12:06 PM CT
The sore right foot that kept Zach Randolph from playing on Saturday could keep him out of action on Monday, too, according to the New York Daily News. "It's a little sore," Randolph said. "Hopefully it is nothing serious." He's actually been bothered by the ailment most of the season, but Saturday was the first game he's missed. He racked up 29 points and 17 boards on Friday, so hopefully he'll get back on track soon.
Tony Allen, G, Boston CelticsSunday 3/2, 12:02 PM CT
Tony Allen is expected to return to action on Sunday, according to the Boston Herald. "I ain’t forcing myself - I just don’t want to lose my conditioning," said Allen. "(The calf) is still tight, but I can do a couple of things. I can fight through it." Allen's been dealing with a strained right calf and the flu, but he won't have any fantasy value even at full strength.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas, C, Cleveland CavaliersSunday 3/2, 11:53 AM CT
Zydrunas Ilgauskas will not take part in Sunday's game due to a strained back, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Big Z's had back ailments for a long time, so hopefully this isn't the beginning of a problem that will nag him the rest of the season. Look for Anderson Varejao and Ben Wallace, who will be facing his old Bulls team, to pick up the slack on Sunday in Big Z's absence.
Tayshaun Prince, F, Detroit PistonsSunday 3/2, 12:00 AM CT
Tayshaun Prince scored 22 points and recorded 10 assists as the Detroit Pistons demolished the Clippers 103-73 Saturday night. Prince is averaging 13 points and three assists per game this season, so the double-double was a plus for owners in deep formats.
