Jason Kidd took only six shots on Thursday night and produced seven points, six rebounds and six boards in a Mavericks loss to the Rockets. With Dirk Nowitzki out of the lineup one would figure that Kidd would have taken more of a lead in this game but he was content to let others shine, and unfortunately for the Mavs, they didn't.

Manu Ginobili, G, San Antonio SpursThursday 3/6, 10:15 PM CT
Manu Ginobili scored a game-high 28 points on Thursday night in the Spurs victory over the Pacers. Manu was an ultra-efficient 10-for-13 from the field and 8-for-9 from the line. Too bad he turned the ball over five times or it might have been just about a perfect outing.

Still, he has played at least 22 minutes seven of the last eight games so he is certainly been given a chance to show what he is capable of.

Caron Butler hopes to return to practice next week, though no timetable has been set as to when he will return to game action, this according to the AP. “I am very confident that I will be back on the court, sooner rather than later,” he said. Over their last 13 games the Wizards are just 5-8, so they obviously need Butler back desperately, Even if he returns to practice next week, there is no guarantee that he will be back in game action anytime soon.
