Beno Udrih, G, Sacramento KingsThursday 3/13, 11:45 PM CT
Beno Udrih had another solid outing as he registered 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in a 96-85 win over the Blazers. He is averaging 20.6 points over his last eight games.
Brandon Roy, G, Portland TrailblazersThursday 3/13, 11:39 PM CT
Brandon Roy generated a team high 21 points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a blocked shot in a 96-85 loss to the Kings. He has now reached at least 20 points in seven of his last eight games.
Caron Butler, F, Washington WizardsThursday 3/13, 10:27 PM CT
Caron Butler returned to the lineup for the first time since February 5 (due to his hip injury) and he came out firing as he led the team with 19 points as the Wizards edged the Cavs 101-99. He also chipped in six rebounds, an assist, and a steal but he remains a risk until he can play a few more games in a row without any issues with his hip.
Antawn Jamison, F, Washington WizardsThursday 3/13, 10:22 PM CT
Antawn Jamison returned to action following his back ailment and played well as he contributed 17 points, 10 rebounds, and a steal in a close 101-99 win over Cleveland. He should return to your lineups.
Ben Wallace, F, Cleveland CavaliersThursday 3/13, 10:17 PM CT
Ben Wallace was able to suit up and play through his back spasms on Thursday night, and he did an admirable job as he chipped in eight points and eight boards (plus three blocks) over just under 33 minutes of work. Wallace remains an injury risk.
LeBron James, F, Cleveland CavaliersThursday 3/13, 10:14 PM CT
LeBron James had a good night of work as he contributed 25 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in a two point loss to Washington. His points were down, but you can't complain about his full stat-line.
Antawn Jamison, F, Washington WizardsThursday 3/13, 7:08 PM CT
Antawn Jamison is expected to return to action Thursday night, according to the Washington Post. This is great news as he is averaging 21.4 points and 10.3 rebounds per game this season and the Wizards remain in the playoff hunt.
Jeff Green, F, Oklahoma City ThunderThursday 3/13, 2:21 PM CT
Jeff Green strained his left shoulder during Wednesday's action, but was able to return to the court. The rookie isn't expected to miss anytime to the ailment. Green is a low-level fantasy contributor in deep formats averaging 9.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Andre Miller, G, Philadelphia 76ersThursday 3/13, 11:56 AM CT
The Sixers were without guard Andre Miller for half of the fourth quarter in Wednesday night's win over Detroit, this according to Philly.com. Miller aggravated a back injury that he first suffered in Monday's 100-86 loss to the visiting Boston Celtics. The scoring guard (16.8 points per game) will undergo tests today and is considered day-to-day.
Chris Webber, F, Thursday 3/13, 11:50 AM CT
Chris Webber (sore knee) has been ruled out for Thursday night's game in Phoenix, this according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The veteran forward has no timetable for a return and zero fantasy value.
Devean George, G, Dallas MavericksThursday 3/13, 11:46 AM CT
Devean George was inactive for the second straight game on Wednesday. George is suffering from a lower back injury. The Mavs swingman, the black sheep in Dallas since vetoing his trade to New Jersey, has been quiet. His 3.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game doesn't excite the fantasy nation.
Francisco Elson, F, Milwaukee BucksThursday 3/13, 10:53 AM CT
Francisco Elson left Wednesday night's game in the third quarter with an apparent leg injury. The team declined to comment on the injury during post-game interviews. Elson has little fantasy value averaging 3.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game this season.
Greg Oden, C, Portland TrailblazersThursday 3/13, 10:43 AM CT
ESPN reports that the Blazers player personnel finally got an up close look at their future on Wednesday when center Greg Oden , who has missed the entire season, practiced with the team for 45 minutes. Oden, who is sitting out what would have been his rookie season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee, jumped, dunked and took part in offensive plays with his teammates, according to the report.
Rashard Lewis, F, Orlando MagicThursday 3/13, 10:39 AM CT
Rashard Lewis, has been on a tear since the mid-season break. Lewis is shooting 50.1 percent (83 of 164) since the All-Star break and he's averaging 19.6 points per game. His fantasy contributions continue to grow and the Magic's shooting forward is a top option in deeper formats.
Acie Law, G, Atlanta HawksThursday 3/13, 10:35 AM CT
Acie Law (sprained right wrist) returned for Wednesday's loss to the Rockets. The Hawks point guard had missed 11 consecutive games. Law has little fantasy value in traditional formats.
Carl Landry, F, Houston RocketsThursday 3/13, 10:33 AM CT
The Rockets were without Carl Landry (sore right knee) in their Wednesday night, 20th consecutive win. Landry, who remained in Houston, suffered what could be a season ending knee injury this past weekend. No word yet on any projected timetable or rehab schedule. Landry is a low-end fantasy option averaging 8.5 points and five rebounds per game.
Rasheed Wallace, F, Detroit PistonsThursday 3/13, 9:19 AM CT
Rasheed Wallace was back in the starting lineup after missing two games with a sore ankle. He had a team-high 17 points in the Pistons ugly loss to the 76ers. The return of the shooting forward means new acquisition Theo Ratliff will shift to a more appropriate reserve role.
Sasha Pavlovic, G, Cleveland CavaliersThursday 3/13, 9:16 AM CT
After missing over seven weeks to a foot injury, Cleveland's Sasha Pavlovic returned to action on Wednesday night. It shouldn't surprise anyone that the guard struggled in his first game back. The 24-year-old played a forgettable 10 minutes, missing all three of his shots from the field and finished with zero points. He is essentially in training camp mode after his long absence.
Chris Kaman, C, Los Angeles ClippersThursday 3/13, 9:12 AM CT
Chris Kaman missed his second consecutive game due to back spasms on Wednesday. The Clips are without big-men Kaman and Elton Brand (Achilles) and it shows. Los Angeles had to face Orlando on Wednesday with an undersized frontcourt that consisted of Tim Thomas, Josh Powell and Corey Maggette, and were schooled by Magic, 110-88. The Clippers have to be concerned that Kaman's back woes could be chronic not only affecting his health for the rest of this season, but going forward.
Bruce Bowen, F, San Antonio SpursThursday 3/13, 9:07 AM CT
Bruce Bowen started his 500th consecutive game on Wednesday, marking the longest current streak in the NBA. The 36-year-old Spurs forward began the streak in February of 2002. Bowen has more reality value than fantasy value.
Gerald Wallace, F, Charlotte BobcatsThursday 3/13, 7:43 AM CT
Gerald Wallace was back in the Bobcats lineup on Wednesday after sitting out eight games with a concussion. The 25-year-old came off the bench scoring 14 points on a 5-for-12 shooting night in a 118-93 loss to Dallas. As expected, Wallace was rusty after his long absence but fantasy owners should activate him moving forward.
Gerald Wallace, F, Charlotte BobcatsThursday 3/13, 7:42 AM CT
Gerald Wallace was back in the Bobcats lineup on Wednesday after sitting out eight games with a concussion. The 25-year-old came off the bench scoring 14 points on a 5-for-12 shooting night in a 118-93 loss to Dallas. As expected Wallace was rusty after his long absence but fantasy owners should activate him moving forward.
Yao Ming, C, Houston RocketsThursday 3/13, 7:39 AM CT
The Houston frontcourt hasn't missed a beat since losing Yao Ming to a foot injury. On Wednesday, power forward Luis Scola and his back-up Chuck Hayes both pulled down 12 rebounds in the Rockets' 83-75 win over the Hawks. The teams 20th consecutive win.
Kenyon Martin, F, Denver NuggetsThursday 3/13, 1:30 AM CT
Despite the worries of concussion, Kenyon Martin showed nicely in Denver's win over Memphis (108-86). Martin was the top scorer with 23 points, adding seven rebounds and three assists. It's just two games, but Martin is showing life, scoring 16 two days ago. It pails to what he used to be (much less what was expected of his career), and it may be the controversy of the alleged traffic scandal in Denver that is motivating him, but Martin is looking better than he has in a long time.
Baron Davis, G, Los Angeles ClippersThursday 3/13, 12:07 AM CT
Once again, Baron Davis comes through for the Warriors and fantasy owners alike, posting a double-double in Golden State's 117-106 win over Toronto. Davis had 23 points with 15 assists. This is par for the course for Davis, at least in terms of scoring. With Monta Ellis and Stephen Jackson filling the hole, the assists should become a common occurrence as well.
Monta Ellis, G, Golden State WarriorsThursday 3/13, 12:04 AM CT
Monta Ellis continues to work as a player to fear, posting 33 points with six rebounds and four assists in Golden State's 117-106 win over Toronto. Monta has been scoring big in the last month and should earn some consideration each time you fill out the fantasy roster.
David West, F, New Orleans HornetsThursday 3/13, 12:00 AM CT
Returning from injury, David West showed why he's got fantasy owners and fans buzzing with excitement, posting 29 points and 10 rebounds with three assists and a steal in New Orleans' 100-75 win over San Antonio. When healthy, West has become a player you must have in your fantasy lineup. Each night is an opportunity to do what he did tonight, and you can't have that on the bench.
