Trent Green, QB, St. Louis RamsSunday 10/7, 8:56 PM CT
After being taken off the field on a stretcher during the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Texans, Trent Green was diagnosed with a concussion at a Houston hospital and was able to return to the stadium after the game. He joined the Dolphins on their team flight home to Miami instead of staying in the hospital for further evaluation. “It was great to see him in the locker room, and in the training room up and about, talking,” defensive end Jason Taylor told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Anthony Gonzalez, WR, Indianapolis ColtsSunday 10/7, 6:38 PM CT
With Marvin Harrison sidelined Sunday, rookie Anthony Gonzalez played a significant role on offense for the Colts. Gonzalez had 71 yards receiving, joining Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark as the three players to whom Peyton Manning completed seven passes. Look for all three to carry a big load in their next game, should Harrison require more time to recover.
Kenton Keith, RB, Sunday 10/7, 6:34 PM CT
Kenton Keith proved Sunday that if you have the roster space avaialable, handcuffing your stud running backs is a must. Starting in place of the injured Joseph Addai, Keith carried the ball 28 times for 121 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught five passes for an additional 37 yards. It's not clear yet if Addai will be back in the mix for the Colts' next game, but Keith will be ready to roll if he's needed.
Michael Pittman, RB, Denver BroncosSunday 10/7, 6:30 PM CT
Michael Pittman was knocked out of Sunday's game with an ankle injury. He was carted off the field and did not return to the game. The Bucs' rushing game against the Colts was non existent, as Pittman had five carries for -1 yards and Earnest Graham had just six carries for 11 yards. Things won't get any easier for the Bucs rushers, who already were without Cadillac Williams, next week when they face the Titans.
Antwaan Randle El, WR, Washington RedskinsSunday 10/7, 6:23 PM CT
Antwaan Randle El was having a huge day before a hamstring injury knocked him out just before halftime. With Santana Moss out with an injury of his own, Randle El torched the Lions for 100 yards on seven catches before leaving. The Redskins signed Keenan McCardell, who caught two passes for 39 yards Sunday, this week, and he should figure into the mix if Moss and Randle El miss more action.
Brian Leonard, RB, St. Louis RamsSunday 10/7, 6:15 PM CT
Brian Leonard did well in his second straight start in place of the injured Steven Jackson Sunday. Leonard had 102 yards on 18 carries, though he was unable to get the ball into the end zone against the Cardinals. Things won't be as easy next week, when the Rams go up against the stout Ravens rush defense.
Deion Branch, WR, Seattle SeahawksSunday 10/7, 6:08 PM CT
A sprained right foot forced Deion Branch to exit Sunday's game in the second quarter. He had only two catches for 14 yards before leaving. The Seahawks were shut out by the Steelers, and no Seattle wide receiver had more than Branch's two catches on the day. Should Branch miss their next game, Nate Burleson and Bobby Engram would be the primary receiving options.
Brandon Jacobs, RB, New York GiantsSunday 10/7, 6:01 PM CT
Brandon Jacobs looked great in his return from a sprained knee Sunday. He racked up an even 100 yards on 20 carries and scored once. Backup Derrick Ward was remained involved, rushing 13 times for 56 yards and a score, but Jacobs will be the primary option going forward, so long as he stays healthy.
Reggie Bush, RB, New Orleans SaintsSunday 10/7, 5:54 PM CT
As expected, Reggie Bush handled nearly all of the running back duties Sunday in the Saints' first game since losing Deuce McAllister for the remainder of the season. Bush had 21 carries for 67 yards and caught nine passes for another 52 yards. Aaron Stecker had just four carries, though Mike Karney scored the Saints only touchdown on a two-yard run. Look for Bush to continue handling the vast majority of the backfield load the rest of the season.
David Carr, QB, New York GiantsSunday 10/7, 5:48 PM CT
David Carr was forced out of Sunday's game with a back injury but returned to lead the Panthers to a come-from-behind win over the Saints on Sunday. "It was by far the worst pain I've ever felt in my life," Carr said, according to the AP. "I felt like I got sat on and then twisted. Every bone in my back popped all the way up to my neck. ... I didn't know, honestly, if I'd ever play again." Despite his best efforts for the Panthers, Carr was useless in fantasy terms, as he finished with 119 yards, the score and interception. Time will tell if either Carr or Jake Delhomme will be ready for the Panthers' next contest.
Ben Watson, TE, New England PatriotsSunday 10/7, 5:41 PM CT
Ben Watson caught six passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday. The Browns defense double-teamed Randy Moss most of the game, so Tom Brady spread the ball around, and Watson made the most of it. Big games like this won't happen all the time for Watson, but he's going to be open a lot and has hit paydirt five times in five games now.
Damon Huard, QB, Kansas City ChiefsSunday 10/7, 5:31 PM CT
Damon Huard was unable to complete Sunday's game. The Chiefs quarterback was knocked out of the contest late in the fourth quarter with a bruised shoulder, according to the AP. Huard had 196 yards passing, an interception and no touchdowns before Brodie Croyle took over. Croyle led the team to its only score of the day, a pass to Samie Parker, and would lead them in their next game if Huard is unable to play.

David Carr, QB, New York GiantsSunday 10/7, 12:57 PM CT
Quarterback David Carr injured his back during a Will Smith sack in the first quarter against the Saints. Matt Moore entered the game for the Panthers in Carr’s place.
Trent Green, QB, St. Louis RamsSunday 10/7, 12:42 PM CT
Quarterback Trent Green tried to throw a block for receiver Ted Ginn, and took a knee to the side of the head. Green was strapped to a stretcher and taken off the field. Cleo Lemon replaced Green at quarterback.
Santonio Holmes, WR, Pittsburgh SteelersSunday 10/7, 12:29 PM CT
Wideout Santonio Holmes pulled a hamstring during pre-game warm-ups, and has yet to see the field. His status for the game is questionable.

Plaxico Burress, WR, New York GiantsSunday 10/7, 11:01 AM CT
Plaxico Burress is listed as the starter for Sunday's tilt with the Jets. He missed practice all week due to a sprained right ankle. Start him in all fantasy leagues.

Brandon Jacobs is active for Sunday’s game against the Jets. He has not played since he suffered a knee injury in Week 1.
Anquan Boldin, WR, Arizona CardinalsSunday 10/7, 10:57 AM CT
Anquan Boldin has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Rams due to a hip injury. He sat out last week with the same ailment.
Calvin Johnson, WR, Detroit LionsSunday 10/7, 10:57 AM CT
Calvin Johnson is active for Sunday’s game against the Redskins. He missed Week 4 due to a bruised back and was limited in practice all week. Johnson was listed as questionable. He may still be less than 100 percent but should still be an okay fantasy start.
Jake Delhomme, QB, Carolina PanthersSunday 10/7, 10:53 AM CT
Jake Delhomme ’s name appears on the inactive list, meaning David Carr will start on Sunday against the Saints. Delhomme has not played since he suffered an elbow injury in Week 3.
Santana Moss, WR, Washington RedskinsSunday 10/7, 10:52 AM CT
Santana Moss is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions. He was doubtful due to a groin injury suffered in Week 3. James Thrash will start in his place. Jason Campbell's stock takes a hit with Moss on the sidelines.
