Frank Gore, RB, San Francisco 49ersFriday 11/2, 9:24 PM CT
For the third straight day, Frank Gore was limited in practice on Friday. The Niners aren't expected to determine whether he'll play Sunday until close to game time, according to the AP. Gore continues to be slowed by a nagging ankle injury and clearly won't be near full strength even if he can suit up for the game.
LenDale White, RB, Tennessee TitansFriday 11/2, 9:19 PM CT
A toe problem kept LenDale White from practicing on Friday. However, coach Jeff Fisher said the running back should be available for Sunday's game, according to the AP. "We just gave him the day off. His toe is a little sore," Fisher said of White. "It's nothing serious, nothing that should affect him on Sunday." You'll want to check to see if he's active Sunday, but at this point it doesn't seem to be a concern. With Chris Brown likely out again due to a sprained ankle, rookie Chris Henry could start if White's condition worsens.
D.J. Hackett, WR, Carolina PanthersFriday 11/2, 9:15 PM CT
Coach Mike Holmgren said that D.J. Hackett is ready to return to action Sunday. However, he added that he wasn't sure if Hackett or Nate Burleson will start, according to the AP. Hackett has been out with a high-ankle sprain, but it appears that he's ready to go now. Hackett and Burleson both should see plenty of action, but you might want to let Hackett get his legs under him before putting him into your lineup.
Deion Branch, WR, Seattle SeahawksFriday 11/2, 9:05 PM CT
Deion Branch was only able to get in a limited workout Friday and looks to be a game-time call for Sunday due to his sprained foot. "We'll make that call on Sunday, but he's going to go on the trip and he's really close and he's getting better," coach Mike Holmgren said, according to the AP. "If he were to play he'd have a limited number of snaps ... specific plays." That last part is the key in fantasy terms; if he suits up, you can't expect much out of Branch on Sunday.
Sammy Morris, RB, New England PatriotsFriday 11/2, 8:59 PM CT
The Pats placed Sammy Morris on injured reserve Friday, formally ending his season in the process. You don't often get black-and-white information regarding injuries from the Patriots, but in this case we know that Morris will not return from his chest injury this season. This is good news for those who own Laurence Maroney, as Morris won't be around to pilfer carries and touchdowns in the second half of the season. Kevin Faulk will continue to see added work, though.
Vinny Testaverde, QB, Carolina PanthersFriday 11/2, 1:19 PM CT
Vinny Testaverde missed a third day of practice on Friday, according to the Charlotte Observer. He is nursing a right Achilles injury and is not expected to play on Sunday against the Titans.
Marvin Harrison, WR, Indianapolis ColtsFriday 11/2, 1:07 PM CT
Doctors have cleared Marvin Harrison to play this Sunday against the Patriots, but he still might sit out. "We really want him to be ready coming down the stretch," head coach Tony Dungy told the Indianapolis Star. "If the doctors say we really have a much better chance of him being healthy down the stretch by sitting out, then we'll sit him out. We'll all get together and make that decision.' A bruised left knee has forced Harrison to miss two of the last three games.
Leonard Little, DE, St. Louis RamsFriday 11/2, 11:38 AM CT
Leonard Little might need surgery to repair torn ligament on the big toe of his left foot. “I already know I’m going to (need) surgery, but I want to know if it can get well enough where I can be effective on it, and play on it,” Little told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Deion Branch, WR, Seattle SeahawksFriday 11/2, 11:24 AM CT
Deion Branch did not practice on Thursday. Head coach Mike Holmgren told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer that Branch would be a game-day decision.

Laveranues Coles, WR, New York JetsFriday 11/2, 9:02 AM CT
Laveranues Coles will almost certainly not play this weekend against the Redskins, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. He's coming off a concussion. The Jets would need to start either Brad Smith or Justin McCareins in his place.
Chris Brown, RB, Houston TexansFriday 11/2, 8:56 AM CT
Chris Brown did not practice Thursday, and will likely need to sit out another week. He's dealing with a high ankle sprain.

Andre Johnson, WR, Houston TexansFriday 11/2, 12:56 AM CT
Andre Johnson did work again on Thursday and Gary Kubiak thinks the wideout has a shot to play against Oakland. Johnson (knee) hasn't seen the field since Week 2. If Johnson is in uniform on game day, it's very possible he'll be held to a limited amount of snaps.
Sage Rosenfels, QB, Houston TexansFriday 11/2, 12:54 AM CT
Sage Rosenfels has been named the Week 9 starter for the Texans, as Matt Schaub (concussion) will not be available.
