| The Buccaneers expect running back Michael Pittman to return from his ankle injury when the team comes back from their Week 10 bye. Head coach Jon Gruden is expected Pittman to be a key contributor right away. "Pittman has always been a big part of our offense," Gruden told the St. Petersburg Times. "He's a great receiver. He's one of the great third-down backs in football, I believe. He allows us to move formations. He's a joker. He's a guy who can line up in any eligible position and function, and he's just going to supplement what we're doing and give us a good runner and excellent receiver and certainly a good pass protector." |

| Rams head coach Scott Linehan told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that he expects running back Steven Jackson to play Sunday against the Saints. Jackson left the team’s last game early with a back injury. He also missed a large chuck of the season with a groin ailment. The Saints defense won’t remind anyone of the 1985 Bears, but Jackson will be returning against a unit which hasn’t allowed a 100-yard rusher since Week 1. |

| The Falcons didn’t have an update on running back Jerious Norwood’s right ankle injury on Monday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game. We’ll know some more about the injury and Norwood’s status for Week 10 once the Falcons commence practicing on Wednesday.
