| The NFL has reinstated Ricky Williams, who has not played in the league since the 2005 season because of a suspension for numerous violations of the league's drug policy, according to the Sports Network. "Ricky Williams was notified this morning by Commissioner Goodell that he has been reinstated as an NFL player," the NFL said in a statement. "Williams can begin attending team meetings and practicing immediately, but will not be eligible to play in games until Week 12 when the Dolphins play at Pittsburgh (Monday night, November 26). The Dolphins will receive a roster exemption for Williams for up to two weeks when he begins practicing, starting no later than Monday." It remains to be seen if the Dolphins will welcome Williams back, and even if they do, it's unlikely he'll have much fantasy value the rest of the way. |
