Donovan McNabb, QB, Philadelphia EaglesSunday 11/18, 10:22 PM CT
Donovan McNabb had to leave Sunday's game with an injury, but the prognosis on him is good. X-rays on the quarterback's ankle were negative, and he is expected to participate in next week's clash with the Patriots.
Kevin Faulk, RB, New England PatriotsSunday 11/18, 9:43 PM CT
Kevin Faulk left Sunday night's game in the second quarter after sustaining a head injury. He isn't expected to return to the game, according to the AP.
D.J. Hackett, WR, Carolina PanthersSunday 11/18, 7:45 PM CT
D.J. Hackett continued his stellar play Sunday since returning from an ankle injury, catching nine passes for 136 yards and a TD. Hackett has found the end zone in each of his three games since coming back and is averaging nearly 100 yards per contest.
Santana Moss, WR, Washington RedskinsSunday 11/18, 7:40 PM CT
Santana Moss was questionable to play on Sunday, but he took the field and put together easily his best performance of the year, catching nine balls for 121 yards and a TD against Dallas. It was Moss' first 100-yard game and first score of the season.
Mike Peterson, LB, Jacksonville JaguarsSunday 11/18, 5:04 PM CT
Mike Peterson broke his right hand Sunday and will be sidelined indefinitely. Peterson, the team's top tackler, missed 11 games last season after tearing a chest muscle. "He broke it in several places and the question will be whether or not four or five weeks from now he can play with a big club or not," coach Jack Del Rio said in the AP. "We'll have to assess that. Right now, he's definitely going to be out for a few weeks."
Ted Ginn, WR, Miami DolphinsSunday 11/18, 4:44 PM CT
If you can glean anything positive out of John Beck's NFL debut, it is that he established a bit of a connection with fellow rookie Ted Ginn. Ginn led the Dolphins with four catches for 52 yards, both season highs.
John Beck, QB, Miami DolphinsSunday 11/18, 4:41 PM CT
John Beck was welcomed rudely to the NFL Sunday, completing only 9-of-22 passes for 109 yards with no TDs. The Dolphins have no reason not to stick with the youngster, but that doesn't mean you ever need to stick him in your lineup.
Chester Taylor, RB, Minnesota VikingsSunday 11/18, 4:38 PM CT
The Vikings were without Adrian Peterson Sunday, but their running game certainly didn't suffer, as Chester Taylor torched the Raiders for 164 yards and three TDs on 22 carries. He also added 38 yards on three receptions. It's not clear how long AD will be out, but in the meantime, Taylor will be a solid fantasy option.
Brodie Croyle, QB, Kansas City ChiefsSunday 11/18, 4:33 PM CT
Brodie Croyle wasn't able to pull off the upset of the Colts in his first start, but he certainly didn't embarrass himself. The second-year signal caller completed over 70 percent of his passes (19-for-27) for 169 yards and a TD with no interceptions. Don't expect Croyle to be much of a fantasy option down the stretch, but he should at least be able to hang on to the starting job.
Andre Johnson, WR, Houston TexansSunday 11/18, 4:29 PM CT
Andre Johnson returned in Week 11 after missing seven games with a knee injury. He didn't miss a beat, catching six balls for 120 yards and a score. Johnson has had at least 120 yards and a touchdown in all three of his games this year, and it's pretty clear he won't have any trouble re-establishing himself as a top fantasy option following his injury.
Drew Carter, WR, Oakland RaidersSunday 11/18, 4:26 PM CT
Drew Carter made up for the absence of Steve Smith Sunday with a huge day, as he hauled in five passes for 132 yards and a TD. Carter had one huge game last year, as well (eight catches, 144 yards and a TD in Week 14), but these games are few and far between for the former Ohio State Buckeye.
Rudi Johnson, RB, Detroit LionsSunday 11/18, 4:22 PM CT
Rudi Johnson received 22 carries to Kenny Watson's nine totes last week, but Week 11 was a different story. Rudi carried the rock eight times for just 25 yards, while Watson carried it nine times for 45 yards while also adding eight catches for 50 yards. Both Cincy backs' values will be limited so long as they share the duties so evenly.
Devard Darling, WR, Kansas City ChiefsSunday 11/18, 4:15 PM CT
Devard Darling was the Ravens' big-play receiver Sunday, collecting four passes for 107 yards and a TD. Given that Darling came into the game with four catches for 31 yards and no TDs in his four-year career, this outburst certainly is a surprise.
Jerious Norwood, RB, Atlanta FalconsSunday 11/18, 4:11 PM CT
Jerious Norwood returned to action Sunday after missing last week's game with an ankle injury, but he received his fewest touches of the season, carrying the ball two times for four yards. He added two receptions for 10 yards. Given that he's yet to receive double-digit carries this year, Norwood has been hard-pressed to produce any fantasy value.
Brandon Jacobs, RB, New York GiantsSunday 11/18, 4:02 PM CT
Brandon Jacobs was helped off of the field by the Giants trainers with an apparent left hamstring injury. The details of his injury aren't known at this time.
Byron Leftwich, QB, Pittsburgh SteelersSunday 11/18, 3:58 PM CT
Byron Leftwich got the start over Joey Harrington Sunday, but he didn't play like a guy who wanted to hang on to the starting job. Lord Byron completed just 15-of-28 passes for 106 yards while getting picked off twice. Harrington relieved Leftwich in the third quarter and played well, completing 16-of-20 passes for 139 yards and a score. The Falcons could go back to Harrington in Week 12, but whichever signal caller they end up using isn't likely to have much value.
Deion Branch, WR, Seattle SeahawksSunday 11/18, 2:38 PM CT
Seahawks receiver Deion Branch is active for Week 11. He’s missed the last four games with a sprained foot. Branch was able to practice all week.
Donovan McNabb, QB, Philadelphia EaglesSunday 11/18, 1:21 PM CT
Donovan McNabb is in the training room as the Eagles medical staff is looking at his right knee. McNabb landed awkwardly when Dolphins cornerback Michael Lehan tackled him on a scramble. A.J. Feeley has replaced McNabb on the field.
Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, New York GiantsSunday 11/18, 1:17 PM CT
Mathias Kiwanuka broke his left fibula on the second play of the game Sunday. He was hurt when teammate Osi Umenyiora rolled into him while making a tackle, according to the AP.
Anthony Gonzalez, WR, Indianapolis ColtsSunday 11/18, 11:26 AM CT
Anthony Gonzalez is active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Gonzalez, who has been out with a dislocated left thumb, should see plenty of action with Marvin Harrison sitting out again.
Todd Heap, TE, Baltimore RavensSunday 11/18, 11:23 AM CT
Todd Heap will sit out Sunday's game due to his hamstring injury. Quinn Sypniewski will start in his place.
Dallas Clark, TE, Indianapolis ColtsSunday 11/18, 11:13 AM CT
Colts tight end Dallas Clark will start Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. He missed last week’s loss to the Chargers with a concussion. Clark had 103 yards against Kansas City during last year’s playoff game and should have a nice effort again this afternoon.
Marvin Harrison, WR, Indianapolis ColtsSunday 11/18, 11:13 AM CT
Colts receiver Marvin Harrison is inactive again this weekend because of his lingering knee injury. It will be the fifth game he has missed since Week 4. We’re becoming increasing concerned that Harrison won’t have a meaningful impact for fantasy teams the rest of this season. Hopefully the 10 days the Colts get off after Thanksgiving will be enough time for him to get back to his old self.
Brian Westbrook, RB, Philadelphia EaglesSunday 11/18, 11:03 AM CT
Brian Westbrook is active and will start today versus the Dolphins. Westbrook had been dealing with swelling and soreness in his knee, but he is good to go and has a juicy matchup.
Steve Smith, WR, Carolina PanthersSunday 11/18, 11:02 AM CT
Steve Smith will not play in Sunday’s game against the Packers. He is on the inactive list with a shin injury that caused him to miss practice all week.
LaMont Jordan, RB, New England PatriotsSunday 11/18, 10:59 AM CT
LaMont Jordan is listed as inactive for the Raiders as they take on the Vikings on Sunday. Jordan has been suffering from a nagging back injury throughout the season, but this move is believed to be more related to his shattered expectations. Justin Fargas, who has taken over as the team's starter, will get the vast majority of the carries against the ferocious Vikings run defense.
David Garrard, QB, Jacksonville JaguarsSunday 11/18, 10:56 AM CT
David Garrard is active and will start for the Jaguars on Sunday. Garrard has missed the last three games with an ankle injury. No surprise here, as Garrard has practiced all week with the team. His matchup with the stingy Bucs defense is not ideal from a fantasy perspective.
Lee Evans, WR, Buffalo BillsSunday 11/18, 8:38 AM CT
Lee Evans gets a tricky matchup against the Patriots this week, a team that's contained him over the years. In seven career starts against New England, Evans has just 14 catches, 247 yards and no touchdowns.
Wes Welker, WR, New England PatriotsSunday 11/18, 7:29 AM CT
Wes Welker has been removed from the injury report. He was held out of Thursday and Friday practices due to a "team decision." Go ahead and start him if you normally would.
