Jeff Garcia , who missed Week 13 with a back injury, is confident that he’ll be healthy enough to return to action this week. I'm sure they will leave that somewhat up to me, and as far as I'm concerned I want to be out there playing. And I don't think that I'm risking anything. I feel like I'm getting back to a place where I'm healthy again. Of course, it's not without some aches, but that's just part of the soreness working it's way out. I feel good about where my healthy is and where I'm headed."

"To my knowledge, at this point it might be a product of getting too much time on the elliptical cycle. Be careful as you get your workout in. The elliptical cycle will get you."

Linebacker Zach Thomas was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday because of complications stemming from a concussion and migraine headaches. According to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins decided they couldn’t wait around for doctors to clear Thomas, so they placed him on IR to free up a roster spot. “The team explained to us that they needed to sign another linebacker, and they just couldn’t afford to wait any longer,” Thomas’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told the Herald.
