Marcus Stroud's return to action didn't last very long. Justin Fargas, RB, Oakland RaidersSunday 12/9, 9:01 PM CT

Lorenzo Neal was carted off the field Sunday in the fourth quarter because of a right leg injury. He had X-rays taken, but the results aren't known yet, according to the AP. We'll update you on Neal's status when more is known. If the fullback is forced to miss time, LaDainian Tomlinson's value would take a bit of a hit.
Shawne Merriman, LB, San Diego ChargersSunday 12/9, 8:55 PM CT
Shawne Merriman left Sunday's game in the second quarter with a left knee injury and didn't return, according to the AP. Merriman had been questionable leading up to the game because of a calf injury. It's not clear at this point how severe the linebacker's ailment is.

George Wilson was taken to the hospital after breaking two ribs in Sunday's win over Miami. He was injured on a kick return in the first quarter, according to the AP. Coach Dick Jauron said he wasn't sure how long Wilson, a converted receiver, would be out.
Shaun Hill, QB, San Francisco 49ersSunday 12/9, 7:00 PM CT
Shaun Hill had never taken an NFL snap before Sunday, but he had to replace an injured Trent Dilfer and actually played pretty well, completing 22-of-28 passes for 180 yards, a touchdown and an interception. There's no word yet as to the severity of Dilfer's injury, but Hill may have to start next week.
Trent Dilfer, QB, San Francisco 49ersSunday 12/9, 6:57 PM CT
Trent Dilfer suffered a head injury just before halftime of Sunday's game and was unable to return. Shaun Hill, who had never taken an NFL snap prior to Sunday, replaced him and actually played pretty well, completing 22-of-28 passes for 180 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota VikingsSunday 12/9, 6:47 PM CT
Maybe Adrian Peterson is human after all. AD struggled mightily against the 49ers in Week 14, gaining a measly three yards on 14 carries. Meanwhile, backfield mate Chester Taylor thrived, going for 101 yards and a TD on just eight carries.
Jerheme Urban, WR, Arizona CardinalsSunday 12/9, 6:41 PM CT
Many assumed it would be Bryant Johnson who stepped up while Anquan Boldin was out. Johnson did have five-yard TD catch, but it was his only reception of the day. Jerheme Urban, meanwhile, set career highs across the board with six catches for 123 yards and a TD.
Jerricho Cotchery, WR, New York JetsSunday 12/9, 6:36 PM CT

Selvin Young started over Travis Henry Sunday and outperformed him by a mile. Young went for 156 yards on 17 carries, while Henry managed just 24 yards on 10 totes (though he did have a score). While Young will presumably get the starting nod again in Week 15, Henry will also be a pretty good play against Houston's defense.
Leonard Pope, TE, Arizona CardinalsSunday 12/9, 5:57 PM CT
Leonard Pope was taken off the field on a cart after an injury to his right ankle in the third quarter of Sunday's game. Pope remained down on the field for more than five minutes while trainers placed an air cast around his foot and ankle, according to the AP. He hopped onto the cart and was taken off the field.

The Texans didn't miss a beat without Matt Schaub in Week 14. Sage Rosenfels completed 27-of-36 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over the Bucs.

Brandon Jacobs carried the ball 22 times for 70 yards and caught three passes for 11 yards in his return to action Sunday. He also lost a pair of fumbles. It wasn't a great performance, but the fact that Jacobs received so much work and made it through the game unscathed is a positive sign.
Darius Walker, RB, Houston TexansSunday 12/9, 4:29 PM CT
With Ahman Green on IR and Ron Dayne hobbled by a leg injury, undrafted rookie Darius Walker shouldered most of the load for the Texans Sunday, carrying the ball 16 times for 46 yards while adding six catches for 35 yards. It's not clear how severe Dayne's injury is, but if he has to miss some time, Walker is likely to start next week.

Ron Dayne was limited for most of Sunday's game with an apparent leg injury. He ended up with just 17 yards on seven carries, while undrafted rookie Darius Walker led the team with 46 yards on 16 carries. We'll update you on Dayne's status for next week when more is known.
Ryan Grant, RB, Green Bay PackersSunday 12/9, 4:22 PM CT
In case you haven't caught on yet, this Ryan Grant guy is pretty good. Grant torched the Raiders for a career-high 156 yards and a TD on 29 carries Sunday. Yes, it was the Raiders, but Grant now has topped 100 yards in four of the last seven contests and has scored five times over that span. He has turned Green Bay's biggest weakness into a strength.
Fred Jackson, RB, Buffalo BillsSunday 12/9, 4:13 PM CT
Marshawn Lynch returned to the lineup Sunday and topped 100 yards, but it was Fred Jackson who lead the team in rushing, gaining 115 yards on 15 carries. Jackson has likely earned steady work in the future, though Lynch will still be the feature back as long as he remains healthy.
Jerricho Cotchery, WR, New York JetsSunday 12/9, 4:11 PM CT
Jerricho Cotchery is active for Sunday's game despite being listed as doubtful on the team's injury report with a finger ailment. Cotchery has a wonderful matchup with the Browns, but our expectations are tempered by his injury problem and the fact the Jets passing game isn't exactly a juggernaut.
Marshawn Lynch, RB, Buffalo BillsSunday 12/9, 4:02 PM CT
Marshawn Lynch didn't take long to shake off the rust after his three-week layoff, rushing for 107 yards on 23 carries in Sunday's win over Miami. Lynch was actually the second leading rusher on his team, though, as Fred Jackson had 115 yards on 15 totes.
Arnaz Battle, WR, San Francisco 49ersSunday 12/9, 2:44 PM CT
49ers wideout Arnaz Battle is active, but the Dan Francisco Chronicle is reporting he will not play. He suffered an ankle injury last Sunday. Battle owners should not be using him this week. The fact he is active indicates he may see some snaps, but this is situation is too up in the air to risk a starting spot on him.
Javon Walker, WR, Oakland RaidersSunday 12/9, 2:32 PM CT
Broncos wideout Javon Walker is inactive for Week 14 because of his linger knee problems. Walker practiced this week, although he clearly hasn’t been himself on the field since returning from surgery. This makes Brandon Marshall a more tempting option for fantasy owners.

Anquan Boldin, WR, Arizona CardinalsSunday 12/9, 11:23 AM CT

Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona CardinalsSunday 12/9, 11:20 AM CT

Brian Westbrook is active and starting despite being listed as questionable.
Jesse Chatman, RB, New York JetsSunday 12/9, 10:58 AM CT

JaMarcus Russell, QB, Oakland RaidersSunday 12/9, 10:58 AM CT
The Raiders have listed rookie JaMarcus Russell as their third quarterback for today’s battle in Green Bay. This makes it unlikely Russell will see any time today, not that he was a fantasy option anyways. If the game gets out of hand, the Raiders by rule could bring him in during the fourth quarter.
Luke McCown, QB, Tampa Bay BuccaneersSunday 12/9, 10:55 AM CT
Luke McCown has been named the starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Texans, according to ESPN. He got the nod over Jeff Garcia, who is nursing a sore back.

Instead, he will travel to Birmingham, Ala., to meet with renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews for further examination of the torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Aaron Stecker will start in place of Bush, and Pierre Thomas will also get work.
