Alex Smith, QB, San Francisco 49ersMonday 12/10, 7:37 PM CT
49ers quarterback Trent Dilfer has already been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Dilfer suffered a concussion yesterday against the Vikings when he tried to dive headfirst for a first down, but ran into the shoulder of Charles Gordon. Shaun Hill will be the likely starter, but coach Mike Nolan said that the team would be looking for a veteran quarterback this week. The team has also not officially ended the season of Alex Smith , who needs surgery to repair his non-throwing left shoulder.

Jeff Garcia, QB, Tampa Bay BuccaneersMonday 12/10, 7:08 PM CT
According to Bucs coach Jon Gruden, Jeff Garcia will be the starting quarterback next week against the Falcons. Garcia has missed the last two weeks with a sore back, leaving Luke McCown to start. Garcia practiced on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday last week, but was not ready to play, and was a scratch just before kickoff.
Joey Harrington, QB, New Orleans SaintsMonday 12/10, 6:56 PM CT
Falcons quarterback Joey Harrington is inactive for tonight’s game against the Saints as the third quarterback. Chris Redman was named the starter earlier in the week, and Byron Leftwich will serve as the backup.
Reggie Bush, RB, New Orleans SaintsMonday 12/10, 6:01 PM CT
ESPN.com reports that Reggie Bush's 2007 season is over. "It just got to the point, though, where he couldn't [play] anymore," a league source said last week. "He's a tougher kid than people realize, but it was only getting worse. At this point, he's just really beaten up. "Bush has been diagnosed with a partially torn posterior cruciate ligament. Luckily, though, the injury won't require surgery. With Bush out, Aaron Stecker figures to get the bulk of the work in New Orleans' backfield.
Trent Dilfer, QB, Monday 12/10, 8:31 AM CT
Trent Dilfer was forced to exit Sunday's game just before the half. He was diagnosed with a concussion and did not return, according to the Contra Costa Times. At this point, he's considered to be questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Bengals, but we'll have to see if he can practice during the week.
Marc Bulger, QB, St. Louis RamsMonday 12/10, 8:23 AM CT
It's not clear when Marc Bulger will play again this season, if he returns at all. "It’s indefinite," coach Scott Linehan said, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "I’m making no predictions. I’m just going to think positive and hope for the best, and make arrangements in case he can’t be available. It’s not anything that you can put a date on." Bulger continues to deal with concussion symptoms, so he'll need to receive medical clearance before taking the field again.
Jeff Garcia, QB, Tampa Bay BuccaneersMonday 12/10, 8:17 AM CT
Despite having regained full range of motion, Jeff Garcia sat out of Week 14 due to his ailing back. However, the Bucs expect him to return to action Sunday versus the Falcons, according to the St. Petersburg Times. Apparently, the plan all along was to sit Garcia for two games before preparing him for Week 15, so he should be good to go on Sunday.
Leonard Pope, TE, Arizona CardinalsMonday 12/10, 7:50 AM CT
Leonard Pope will not play again this season. He dislocated his right ankle during Sunday's game and may have fractured his leg in the process, according to the Arizona Republic. Ben Patrick and Troy Bienemann are the Cardinals' other tight ends, but neither is tantalizing in fantasy terms.
Terry Glenn, WR, Monday 12/10, 7:10 AM CT
Terry Glenn began running routes on Friday, as he works his way back from knee surgery. "He looked good on Friday, and he looked good [Saturday]," owner Jerry Jones told the Dallas Morning News. "That's looking up there." It appears that Glenn will resume practicing this week, but he won't be ready to play against the Eagles. Realistically, the Cowboys are just hoping to get him ready for the postseason, perhaps with a little regular-season action to get his legs going.
Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego ChargersMonday 12/10, 7:04 AM CT
Philip Rivers was knocked out of Sunday's game in the second quarter with a sprained knee. However, he was able to return with a brace and lead the Chargers to a comeback, overtime win over the Titans. "Usually on those deals it is a heck of a lot sorer tomorrow than today," coach Norv Turner said, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Specifically, it's believed that he may have sustained a partial tear of his MCL. He'll be examined further on Monday, but expect him to be limited in practice this week.
Shawne Merriman, LB, San Diego ChargersMonday 12/10, 6:59 AM CT
Shawne Merriman left Sunday's game with a sprained left knee. The Chargers opted against giving a timeline for his return following the game, as they'll wait to see what an MRI reveals on Monday, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Merriman already was battling through a calf injury, so he'll have to overcome both ailments to get back on the field.
Javon Walker, WR, Oakland RaidersMonday 12/10, 6:17 AM CT
Javon Walker missed yet another game Sunday due to his ailing knee. Walker probably will have to restructure his contract to remain with the Broncos next season, according to the Denver Post. Walker has only three catches since Week 2, concerns about his surgically repaired knee will linger, and he's due $4.4 million in option bonuses during the offseason. On top of all that, Brandon Marshall has excelled as a legitimate No. 1 receiving option, and Brandon Stokley has proved to be a legit No. 2 and just got a contract extension, lessening Walker's value to the Broncos even more.
Samari Rolle, CB, Baltimore RavensMonday 12/10, 6:06 AM CT
Samari Rolle was limited in practice last week by a shoulder injury. It wasn't supposed to keep him from playing Sunday, but he decided during warmups that he wasn't going to be able to go, according to the Baltimore Sun. We should have a better idea of his status for Week 15 after results of a Monday MRI are released.
