Kyle Boller, QB, Baltimore RavensMonday 12/17, 10:08 PM CT
The Ravens will start Kyle Boller at quarterback on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks despite a mild concussion that he suffered last week against the Dolphins. Rookie Troy Smith finished last week’s game in Miami, but the concussion is evidently not serious enough to keep him off of the field on Sunday.
Jeremy Shockey, TE, New Orleans SaintsMonday 12/17, 8:28 PM CT
In case you needed official confirmation, Jeremy Shockey is out for the remainder of the season with a broken fibula.
Shaun Hill, QB, San Francisco 49ersMonday 12/17, 8:22 PM CT

Raiders running back Justin Fargas has a sprained MCL and will be shut down for the remainder of the season according to the Associated Press. Fargas sprained the knee on Sunday during the Raiders loss to the Colts. Dominic Rhodes and LaMont Jordan will start the remainder of the season in the backfield, although it is not clear at this point which one will get the bulk of the load.
Roy Williams, S, Dallas CowboysMonday 12/17, 7:00 PM CT
Cowboys safety Roy Williams has been suspended by the NFL for one game for yet another horse collar tackle. This time he took down Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb by the back of the neck.
Terry Glenn, WR, Monday 12/17, 7:51 AM CT
Terry Glenn did some individual drills last week but hopes to join his teammates in practice this week. Recovering from two knee surgeries, he's dealing with swelling his right quadriceps, according to the Dallas Morning News. He could have the quad drained if it bothers him during the week. Even he makes it back for either of the last two games, it would be surprising if he actually contributed in fantasy terms.
Tony Romo, QB, Dallas CowboysMonday 12/17, 7:47 AM CT
The hand injury Tony Romo sustained Sunday was to his thumb. X-rays came back negative, though offensive coordinator Jason Garrett said it was only as a precaution, according to the Dallas Morning News . While the injury doesn't appear to be too serious, it still could affect his throwing ability during the final couple of weeks.
Michael Turner, RB, Atlanta FalconsMonday 12/17, 7:41 AM CT
Michael Turner was unavailable in the second half of Sunday's game after his shoulder popped out in the first half. He'll have an MRI Monday to determine the severity of the injury, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. LaDainian Tomlinson rested in the second half, so it was Darren Sproles who took the carries and ran wild for over 100 yards and two scores. We'll have to wait and see whether Turner or Sproles will back up LT2 in Week 16.
Shawne Merriman, LB, San Diego ChargersMonday 12/17, 7:38 AM CT
As expected, Shawne Merriman was inactive for Sunday's game versus the Lions. Although he hasn't received official word, he expects to return to action next Monday night, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Merriman sprained his left knee during Week 14, but it appears he'll only miss the one game.
LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, San Diego ChargersMonday 12/17, 7:33 AM CT
LaDainian Tomlinson sat out of the entire second half of Sunday's game after feeling a twinge in his hamstring following a 49-yard second-quarter run. "If I had to go back in," Tomlinson said, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. "it wasn't a problem." It doesn't sound like anything serious, but it's worth keeping an eye on. LT2 already had topped the 100-yard mark and scored two touchdowns, so his fantasy owners should still be happy. Backup Michael Turner injured his shoulder, so Darren Sproles filled in for Tomlinson in the second half.
Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego ChargersMonday 12/17, 7:29 AM CT
Philip Rivers played just one series in the second half Sunday, as the Chargers already had the game in hand over the Lions. He wore a bulky brace on his sprained knee and clearly hobbled at times on the joint, but the added rest should help the injury improve as the Chargers head towards the playoffs.
Justin Fargas, RB, Oakland RaidersMonday 12/17, 7:09 AM CT
Justin Fargas could be done for the season. He sprained the MCL in his right knee during Sunday's game, according to the Contra Costa Times. He'll undergo an MRI Monday to determine the severity of the injury, but with just two weeks left, the 1,000-yard rusher may not make it back on the field.
Laveranues Coles, WR, New York JetsMonday 12/17, 6:54 AM CT
Laveranues Coles was only able to take part in one play Sunday. It turns out that he aggravated his high-ankle sprain in a mishap at the Giants' hotel on Saturday night, according to the New York Daily News. He talked the medical staff into letting him play during pregame warmups. "But once I got out there, I just couldn't do it," he said. Obviously, this makes him a very risky play even if he suits up for Week 16.
Kellen Clemens, QB, New York JetsMonday 12/17, 6:49 AM CT
It's believed that the rib injury Kellen Clemens sustained Sunday is a fracture. X-rays taken at the stadium where inconclusive, so he'll undergo an MRI Monday to determine the exact nature of the injury, according to the New York Daily News. Clemens sustained the injury in the first quarter and did not return. If Clemens indeed has a cracked rib, Chad Pennington likely would start for the Jets in Week 16.
