| Matt Schaub is contemplating offseason surgery on his dislocated left shoulder, but doctors have told him he can’t do any further damage and he hasn’t ruled out returning to action this season. “I’d love to get back out there, be on the field with my guys and play in the games and compete,” Schaub told the Houston Chronicle. “We’ll just make sure that when we do that, that I’ll be able to protect myself and not injure the shoulder any worse than it is.” Texans coach Gary Kubiak added that he hopes Schaub can serve as the backup to Sage Rosenfels this weekend. |
