Aaron Ross, CB, New York GiantsFriday 1/18, 11:59 PM CT
Aaron Ross (shoulder) practiced again Friday and should be able to start in the NFC Championship Game at Green Bay.
Nate Kaeding, K, San Diego ChargersFriday 1/18, 11:58 PM CT
Nate Kaeding's sore leg is getting better and he might be able to handle kickoff duties at New England Sunday. Either way, it looks like Kaeding will still be the guy for placement kicks.
Greg Jennings, WR, Green Bay PackersFriday 1/18, 11:57 PM CT
Greg Jennings rested a sore groin earlier in the practice week but he's fully expected to go Sunday against the Giants. He's turned into a touchdown machine for the Packers, scoring 14 times this year while Donald Driver has just two TDs.
Plaxico Burress, WR, New York GiantsFriday 1/18, 11:56 PM CT
Plaxico Burress (ankle) had a limited practice Friday but should be able to take his full amount of snaps Sunday at Green Bay.
Antonio Gates, TE, San Diego ChargersFriday 1/18, 11:56 PM CT
Antonio Gates missed Friday's practice due to his sore toe and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game at New England. Gates was able to play through the doubtful tag and dress at Indianapolis last week, but nonetheless there's a viable chance he won't be able to go here.
LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, San Diego ChargersFriday 1/18, 11:55 PM CT
LaDainian Tomlinson practiced for the second straight day on Friday and should be in good shape for Sunday's game at New England. He's dealing with a sore knee.
Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego ChargersFriday 1/18, 11:51 PM CT
Philip Rivers has a partially torn ACL in his right knee in addition to the sprained MCL the team has made known, and he's currently listed as doubtful for Sunday's game with New England, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Nonetheless, Rivers was able to do some practice work Friday, and he intends to test out the knee Sunday morning before the AFC Championship Game. Keep in mind Antonio Gates was doubtful last week then wound up playing at Indianapolis, for what that's worth. Billy Volek will get the start at quarterback if Rivers can't go.
Daniel Graham, TE, Denver BroncosFriday 1/18, 3:40 PM CT
Daniel Graham will not face any charges stemming from his arrest on January 11, the AP reports. Graham's former girlfriend told that police that he struck a bedpost during an argument about the sale of their home. The tight end also refused to leave the home when she asked him to.
Chris Spencer, C, Seattle SeahawksFriday 1/18, 12:57 PM CT
Seahawks center Chris Spencer will have shoulder and reconstructive thumb surgery on Friday, according to the Tacoma News Tribune. Spencer has been battling shoulder problems for years now, although there is no reason to believe he won’t be ready to go by next season. The thumb injuries will prevent him from guest hosting “Ebert and Roper” in the near future, though.
Kareem Mckenzie, T, New York GiantsFriday 1/18, 9:46 AM CT
Kareem Mckenzie (ankle) fully participated in practice on Thursday. He was limited on Wednesday but should be able to start against the Packers on Sunday. McKenzie will be in charge of slowing down Aaron Kampman.
