Charles Grant, DE, New Orleans SaintsSunday 2/3, 2:20 PM CT
Charles Grant was stabbed in the neck during a brawl at a nightclub on Saturday, according to NFL Network. It's not clear what, if any, connection he may have had to a shooting at the club that killed a pregnant woman, but it's believed that Grant's injury was not serious. We'll have more details on this as they come in.
Adam Jones, CB, Dallas CowboysSunday 2/3, 2:00 PM CT
Despite hoping to be reinstated by the NFL from his suspension, Pacman Jones continues to go to strip clubs and has missed more mandatory counseling sessions, according to ESPN.com. He's reportedly been told by league officials to not expect to be reinstated in the immediate future, and the Titans told him early this week that they'll try to trade him if he is reinstated at some point. The saga continues, but seeing Pacman on the field in 2008 appears unlikely unless he shows better judgment off the field.
Tommie Harris, DT, Chicago BearsSunday 2/3, 1:52 PM CT
Tommie Harris underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee last month, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. He'll skip the Pro Bowl while recovering, but he was feeling well enough to be seen walking around Phoenix enjoying the Super Bowl celebration. The procedure shouldn't affect his offseason workouts or his availability at the start of next season.
Chad Johnson, WR, Cincinnati BengalsSunday 2/3, 1:32 PM CT
Chad Johnson is privately threatening to sit out the 2008 season if he isn't traded by the Bengals, because he feels betrayed by coach Marvin Lewis, who quit talking to the wide receiver early during the 2007 season, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Bengals are unlikely to deal Ocho Cinco, because they'd take an $8.8 million salary-cap hit if he's dealt or released -- that's $2.5 million more than if he stays on the roster. If you've seen him talk recently, it's clear he's not happy with his situation in Cincy. This could get really ugly if the Bengals and Ocho Cinco can't iron out their differences.
