Charles Grant, DE, New Orleans SaintsTuesday 2/5, 4:42 PM CT
Police said Tuesday that Charles Grant was neither an instigator nor a willing participant in the nightclub brawl Saturday that resulted in the death of a woman and Grant being stabbed in the neck, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "I'm good," Grant said by cell phone on Monday. "I'm good. It's nothing major. I'm up moving, walking. I'm good." At this point it appears that Grant avoided any serious physical damage and legal trouble.

Kellen Winslow Jr., TE, Cleveland BrownsTuesday 2/5, 12:43 PM CT
Kellen Winslow Jr will undergo another surgery on his right knee this offseason, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal. He could have had the operation shortly after the season finale, but he instead elected to wait, hoping to be named to the AFC's Pro Bowl team. Winslow received word Monday he would be replacing the injured Antonio Gates on the roster, and he still may play in the game. "I'm definitely going to have a surgery done on my knee," Winslow told WKNR radio last Friday. "My shoulder might be strong enough... I'm just really worried about my knee. Your legs are your life. I need my knee." Winslow had a terrific 2007 campaign, catching 82 balls for 1,106 yards and five scores.
Donovan McNabb, QB, Philadelphia EaglesTuesday 2/5, 12:37 PM CT
Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome has disputed an ESPN report that his team is pondering making a substantial offer for Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. "We have not had one meeting to discuss any personnel on our team or anyone else's team," Newsome said in the Baltimore Sun. "We've been very busy hiring assistant coaches." McNabb's name figures to come up often in trade rumors this offseason, though the Eagles have said they intend on keeping him.
Rosevelt Colvin, LB, New England PatriotsTuesday 2/5, 12:34 PM CT
Rosevelt Colvin's $7.6 million cap charge in 2008 could mean he is at risk of being cut this offseason, according to the Boston Globe. The veteran had 27 tackles before an injury in Week 12 landed him on injured reserve.
