Nick Folk becomes the first Cowboys' kicker since 1981 to make the Pro Bowl and first rookie since Emmitt Smith in 1990 according to the team's official website. Folk finished fourth in the NFL and second in the NFC in scoring with 131 points. He also set a Cowboys scoring record for place-kickers. Folk became a household fantasy name kicking for Dallas' high octane offense and will be one of the top kickers drafted in most 2008 fantasy formats.

Marion Barber could be the only position player in NFL history to make the Pro Bowl without starting a regular-season game, according to the Cowboys' team website. Despite playing behind starter Julius Jones, Barber was the the primary tailback just missing a 1,000-yard season, finishing with a career-best 975 yards. He had 10 rushing touchdowns and added two more receiving scores as well. Barber is a restricted free agent and his name has been tossed around in potential trade talks, although owner Jerry Jones has said publicly he has no intentions of trading next year's starter. With Jones expected to leave via free agency this offseason, Barber's 250 touches this year will likely increase to 350 during the 2008 season.

Tom Brady as spotted walking alone in Soho - and limping again according to the Boston Herald. While Eli Manning was being showered with tickertape Tuesday, record producer Chris Ivery, a Cambridge homey and the hubby of Everett gal and “Grey’s Anatomy” star Ellen Pompeo, told the Herald’s resident fashionista Jill Radsken Wednesday that he spotted No. 12 in NYC the other day and that “he walked with a limp.” The report noted that Ivery, a diehard Pats fan, theorized that the Pats quarterback - who was famously caught on camera wearing a walking cast the week before Super Bowl XLII - was playing hurt on Super Sunday.

Jared Allen could become the franchise’s next Derrick Thomas. That is what Chiefs defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham told the Kansas City Star on Wednesday. "It feels great, no pain at all," Delhomme said. "I'd like to do more than 20, but they're not going to let me win that battle. Leigh Bodden has been acquitted by a Cleveland Municipal Court jury of all charges related to an incident he had last year with police at Hopkins International Airport, according to the Plain Dealer. Following the original incident, Bodden stated he would be cleared of all the charges including failure to comply with a police order, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Obviously, the jury in the case agreed with his assessment of the situation.
