Calvin Pace, LB, New York JetsSunday 3/2, 11:06 PM CT
Calvin Pace is not a member of the Dolphins. Not yet, anyway. There were reports Friday that the free agent linebacker had signed on with Miami, but those were apparently premature. Pace visited the Jets over the weekend and is likely to decide between those two teams, though he's also considering a trip to Cincinnati, according to the New York Daily News. Pace will probably have a decision sometime this week.
Warrick Dunn, RB, Tampa Bay BuccaneersSunday 3/2, 11:02 PM CT
With the signing of Michael Turner, it's clear that the Falcons plan on moving forward without veteran Warrick Dunn. Dunn has requested his release from the team, according to SI.com. The team will almost surely honor his request. Assuming the 33-year-old is released, SI considers Houston the favorite to sign Dunn because of Alex Gibbs, who was hired by the Texans in January. Gibbs was the o-line coach in Atlanta for three of Dunn's six seasons and will be implementing the zone-blocking scheme in Houston that Dunn was so successful in in Atlanta. Indianapolis, Dallas and Denver have also been mentioned as possible landing spot for the veteran.
Alge Crumpler, TE, Tennessee TitansSunday 3/2, 9:27 PM CT
Alge Crumpler isn't officially a Titan just yet, the tight end's agent, James Williams, told Titans Radio Sunday night. "Where did you see that report?... We talked on Sunday, lets put it that way," Williams said. "He has not signed a contract nor agreed to anything." It still seems likely that Crumpler will end up in Tennessee, but Tampa Bay and Seattle could also enter the picture.
DeAngelo Hall, CB, Oakland RaidersSunday 3/2, 8:32 PM CT
The Giants have been rumored to have some interest in trading for the disgruntled DeAngelo Hall, but any potential deal involving the Giants and Falcons is dead for now, according to the Westchester Journal News. The reasoning is that Hall would be looking for Asante Samuel-type money in a long-term deal, something the G-Men would apparently be unwilling to give. Samuel signed a $54 million deal with the Eagles Friday. The paper speculates that if that number would drop, the two sides could end up working something out. Hall will undoubtedly be moved this offseason, whether it's to New York or somewhere else.
Ben Troupe, TE, Tampa Bay BuccaneersSunday 3/2, 7:17 PM CT
Ben Troupe was in Tampa Saturday to meet with Bucs officials. On Sunday, according to the NFL Network, he was in Buffalo to meet with the Bills front office. Troupe's injury history has been a sticking point for many organizations in need of a receiving tight end.

Damien Woody, C, New York JetsSunday 3/2, 6:47 PM CT

Michael Turner, RB, Atlanta FalconsSunday 3/2, 3:34 PM CT

Dolphins head Bill Parcells shot down a report on Yahoo.com that said the Dolphins and Jason Taylor had agreed to part ways before the April draft, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "The latest report is just another example of journalistic irresponsibility," Parcells told ESPN Sunday morning. He added that Taylor will be playing for the Dolphins next season unless the defensive end decides to retire. Certainly, we haven't heard the last of this, so stay tuned.
Brian Simmons, LB, New Orleans SaintsSunday 3/2, 11:45 AM CT
The Saints released Brian Simmons from their roster on Saturday, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. The move was somewhat expected, as the Saints acquired Jonathan Vilma and re-signed Mark Simoneau over the weekend, leaving the team with little reason to pay Simmons $3.3 million next season.
