Jerry Jones said Tuesday the Cowboys will wait as long as possible for the wide receiver to sign a $500,000 injury settlement, but it is something that needs to be done if Glenn is going to play in 2008. The Cowboys believe Glenn needs season-ending, and possibly career-ending, microfracture surgery to fully repair his knee, but they're supportive if Glenn wants to try to play through the injury without undergoing an operation.

Derrick Burgess arrived at Raiders minicamp Tuesday. The defensive end wants a pay raise and skipped all voluntary OTAs but will not be skipping any mandatory activities, according to the AP. Burgess appears to be in great shape. "Once again he looks the same as far as running around and movement," coach Lane Kiffin said. "He looked great on a couple of nakeds that were coming out to his side. He's one of those few guys that you never have to worry about not being in shape or ready to play."

Jerramy Stevens is likely to be suspended for two regular season games for a DUI arrest and conviction, according to PewterReport.com. This is the same incident that Stevens was suspended one game for in 2007. Stevens decided to serve the first game of the suspension last year. The NFL had handed down a longer suspension and Stevens chose to serve one game, and appeal the remaining games. He decided not to serve the entire suspension in 2007 to help the team during their playoff run. Stevens elected to appeal the decision and serve the majority of the suspension in 2008.

Noah Herron reportedly fought off two burglars who entered his home, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He struck one with a bed post that he unscrewed from his bed last weekend. The intruder was injured during the May 30th burglary and a second offender was apprehended outside the home by Brown County Sheriff's deputies, according to information released by the Brown County Sheriff's Department today. Herron was not hurt during the invasion, and he used necessary and acceptable force to defend his home.

Terrell Owens decided to comment on coach Bill Parcells regarding the way he is handling Jason Taylor, according to the Dallas Morning News. Owens thinks Parcells is out of touch with today's athletes, and remarked, "I think he plays too many head games with a lot of people. What Jason was doing was beneficial for him (regarding his stint on Dancing with the Stars). It's not football-related, it has to do with his personal life. Coach Parcells is way off base to criticize and call Jason out in the manner that he has. They're starting to realize he is kind of out of touch with a lot of today's athletes and things that are going on."
