Garth Murray, C, Phoenix CoyotesMonday 12/10, 10:33 AM CT
Garth Murray dislocated his shoulder during Wednesday's game. He's expected to undergo surgery to repair the damage, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. An MRI revealed a torn labrum, so the recovery probably will force Murray to miss the remainder of the season.
Ethan Moreau, LW, Edmonton OilersMonday 12/10, 10:26 AM CT
Ethan Moreau had the cast removed from his broken ankle over the weekend. "I'll be able to practice soon," he told the Edmonton Sun. He missed the last 75 games of last season with a shoulder injury and hasn't suited up this season due to his foot ailment. He'll have to get in some practice before playing in games, so he may be considered week-to-week.
Andrew Ference, D, Boston BruinsMonday 12/10, 10:17 AM CT
Andrew Ference is about ready to return from his sprained knee. "He’s looking pretty good," coach Claude Julien said, according to the Boston Herald. "I’d say he’s a possibility for (tonight). I’m not going to say ‘yes’ right now, because there are still some issues we want to look at medically." Ference has missed a few weeks due to the injury, but it's about time to get him back in your lineups.
Alexander Frolov, LW, Los Angeles KingsMonday 12/10, 10:14 AM CT
Alexander Frolov continues to rehab his groin injury. He said over the weekend that he was just about ready to hit the ice for a game, according to the LA Times. His minus-6 rating wasn't helping his fantasy value before the injury, but 20 points in 21 games helped ease the pain. Look for him to return to the mix this week.
