It looks the superstar, Thrashers and fantasy folk were very fortunate to have him back this quickly, since the knee-to-knee hit he took could have caused much more damage.
Carey Price, G, Montreal CanadiensTuesday 2/5, 6:31 PM CT
Carey Price could start for the Habs as soon as Thursday against the Maple Leafs after being recalled from the minors on Monday, according to TSN.ca. "It's a possibility," coach Guy Carbonneau said. "We sent him (to Hamilton) to get his confidence back and also because he wasn't playing that much. Obviously, if we brought him back, it's for him to play." Price is 3-0 against Toronto this season, so it seems like a logical spot for him to get the nod. Still, Cristobal Huet is going to get the bulk of action in goal, so Price's stay may be short-lived.

The whole hand is bothering me still," Asham said in the Star Ledger. "A lot of times I like to fight, but there is no sense going in 70 percent. I'd either hurt my hand or get knocked out. I'll probably get my wrist looked at at the end of the year and see if I did any more damage. My fingers just need rest. My fingers got twisted when I grabbed onto the jersey during a fight."
