Defenseman Joe Corvo continues to shine for the Hurricanes, posting an impressive three goals in Carolina’s 5-1 win over Ottawa. Corvo has been with the Hurricanes for about a month now and used today’s opportunity to show Ottawa the mistake they made in trading him south, scoring points 13, 14, and 15 since coming to Carolina.
Evgeni Malkin, W, Pittsburgh PenguinsSunday 3/16, 4:00 PM CT
Evgeni Malkin continues to carry the load for the Penguins with Sidney Crosby out once again, posting two goals and two assists in Pittsburgh’s dominating 7-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers today. In Malkin’s last three games, he’s garnered three goals and five assists. Today’s game brings him to 97 points on the year, an absolute treasure for fantasy owners coming towards the end of the season.
Mats Sundin, C, Toronto Maple LeafsSunday 3/16, 2:27 PM CT
Mats Sundin skipped Saturday's game due to a strained groin and likely will not play Tuesday, either, according to the Toronto Star. He was able to skate some Saturday, which is a good sign, but you'll want to keep him benched until we hear something more positive.
Nik Antropov, W, Toronto Maple LeafsSunday 3/16, 2:21 PM CT
Nik Antropov left Saturday's game with a strained knee and did not return, according to the Toronto Star. He'll probably will be re-examined in a couple of days after the swelling goes down to determine a timeline for his return.

"We won't know until tomorrow and we get an MRI. It's a weight-bearing bone on the lower leg." Unless something good comes of the MRI, it sounds like Hatcher's season may be over. We'll have updates as they come in.
Wade Brookbank, W, Carolina HurricanesSunday 3/16, 2:05 PM CT
Wade Brookbank is day-to-day with a leg injury, according to the Raleigh News & Observer. His only real fantasy value comes in PIM, so he won't be missed much.
Matt Cullen, C, Carolina HurricanesSunday 3/16, 2:02 PM CT
Matt Cullen will not be in the mix for Sunday's game because he's had a recurrence of concussion symptoms, according to the Raleigh News & Observer. We'll have to wait and see how he feels over the next few days before a timeline might be set for his return.
