Mesa, AZ (Sports Network) - The Chicago Cubs have agreed to terms on a minor league contract with infielder Corey Koskie, the club announced Saturday.

Koskie will join the Cubs after he finishes playing for Team Canada in the World Baseball classic.

Koskie has not played in the major leagues since 2006, with Milwaukee, when he batted .261 with 12 home runs and 33 RBI in 76 games. Koskie, 35, spent seven of his nine MLB seasons with Minnesota, and owns a career .275 average with 124 homers and 506 RBI.
