Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Brandon Roy scored 28 points, including the two crucial free throws with 1.7 seconds left, as Portland snapped a nine-game series skid against Indiana with a 107-105 victory over the Pacers the Rose Garden.

LaMarcus Aldridge and Travis Outlaw poured in 21 points apiece for the Trail Blazers, who have won three in a row and six of eight overall and 10 in a row at home. Joel Przybilla ended with 10 points and 12 boards in the win.

Marquis Daniels donated 28 points and T.J. Ford 24 for the Pacers, who are 3-3 over their last six games. Jarrett Jack gave 17 points and Roy Hibbert 10 in defeat.

Troy Murphy chipped in 11 points and 13 boards for the Pacers, who last lost to Portland on December 3, 2003.

With the score tied, Roy hit a 12-foot jumper to give the Blazers a 103-101 lead with 1:22 left.

Following a missed shot by Ford, Roy was fouled with 40.5 ticks showing. He hit both attempts to make it 105-101.

After a barrage of botched three-pointers from Indiana, Daniels was fouled attempting a three and hit 2-of-3 to make it 105-103 with 19.7 seconds remaining.

On Portland's next possession, Daniels had a steal which led to his fast-break dunk that tied the game with 11 seconds showing.

The Blazers then inbounded the ball to Roy at the top of the arc. He drove the lane and tried to kick it out to the wing, but was fouled in the process with 1.7 seconds left. After hitting both shots, the Pacers had one last chance to take the win, but Jack's three-point bid was off the mark.

Indiana was ahead 26-20 after the first quarter and on top 59-52 at the break.

Roy's jumper closed out a 9-0 Portland run that brought it to 79-74 with just under four minutes left in the third frame. However, Indiana opened an 86-78 lead heading into the final 12 minutes.

The Pacers held a commanding lead throughout the fourth, before Roy's three- point play sparked a 14-0 Blazers run. Steve Blake hit a pair of threes to close out the surge right around the midway point to give the home team a 92-88 lead.

The teams traded baskets and a Jack jumper, Daniels free throw and Ford jumper gave the Pacers a 99-97 lead with 2:45 left to play.

Game Notes

The Blazers improved to a gaudy 25-5 as the host and now trail idle first- place Denver by just one-half game in the Northwest Division...Portland hasn't lost at home since a 104-98 setback to Cleveland on January 21...The Pacers, who had won two straight, fell to just 8-26 as the visitor...Indiana also fell to 5-3 without All-Star forward Danny Granger, who remains sidelined with a foot injury.
