Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Indiana Pacers guard Mike Dunleavy underwent right knee surgery and will miss the rest of the season, the club said Friday.

Dunleavy had successful surgery for the removal of a bone spur and repair of his right patellar tendon. There is no timetable for Dunleavy's recovery, other than he won't return this season. He is expected to begin rehabilitation immediately.

The 28-year-old averaged 15.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in 18 contests this season. A veteran of 499 career games with the Pacers and Golden State Warriors, Dunleavy owns lifetime averages of 12.5 points and 4.8 rebounds.
