Eden Prairie, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings re-signed linebacker and special teams stalwart Heath Farwell on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Farwell suffered a knee injury in the club's first preseason game that caused the San Diego State product to miss the entire 2008 campaign.

Originally signed by Minnesota as an undrafted free agent in 2005, Farwell holds the Vikings record for special teams tackles in a game with seven and twice has been named special teams MVP.
