Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Maple Leafs signed right wing Jeff Hamilton on Thursday.

Hamilton played for Carolina last season and totaled nine goals and 15 assists in 58 games. He has played for Chicago of the American Hockey Leauge this season where he posted 16 goals and 37 assists in 50 games.

Over four seasons in the NHL, the 31-year-old has played in 142 games and has 29 goals and 42 assists while also skating for the Islanders and Blackhawks.
